Ventajas: The room was well set out with an extra bed for a 3rd adult. The beds were all comfortable and the sound proofing was excellent so we all got a good nights sleep. Useful in room safe and tea/ coffee making facilities. The breakfast was excellent with a wide ranging fresh buffet and hot food cooked to order. The best thing however was the staff. They were all friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay extra special as my daughter celebrated her 21st birthday. They arranged a bottle of Prosseco and chocolate strawberries as well as a card and balloons! Fantastic and huge thanks go to Beth and Kostatin for all their care and attention. The restaurant was also excellent, a new experience for us to have Peruvian food and the staff were helpful with reccommendations.

Ventajas: We told them it was our anniversary and checked in to find champagne and chocolate cake in our room. Bed was extremely comfortable. Bathroom was spacious and beautiful. Decor was lovely. Service was amazing. Location was right near Embankment stop for the tube. Kerrington’s restaurant was beautiful and the food was amazing. Be sure to dress up for dinner. Morning buffet in the North Hall offered lots of choices. Restroom has audio of local actors reading prose and poetry.

Ventajas: The Corinthia is a luxurious hotel with several lovely bars, a wonderful afternoon tea, beautiful flowers and spacious, beautiful rooms. But what I liked most about the hotel was the service. From the time we arrived - wait, no, even BEFORE we arrived, we were treated warmly and respectfully. Our original flight was canceled, so I called the hotel directly to let them know. The representative was lovely and kind (much nicer than anyone at United Airlines), and helped us extend our stay by a day to make up for our missing our original schedule. Then, when we finally did arrive at the Corinthia, we appreciated the attentiveness of the reception staff and the personal tour of the property. Our room was even more delightful than we expected from the photos. We engaged the concierge and bell staff for a variety of things, including helping me with my lost luggage, and each member of the staff was unfailing polite and helpful. Finally, we enjoyed a drink at the Kerridge's Bar - and we were so enamored with the decor and atmosphere that we canceled our existing dinner reservation and were able to be seated in the restaurant. Our meal was the best we had while in London - especially the mushroom risotto (which isn't really risotto, as they will explain) and the fish and chips (yep, this 2-starred Michelin restaurant serves fish and chips and it is DIVINE). I look forward to taking my husband back to this hotel and highly recommend it for all.

Desventajas: The only negative I can think of is that the shower door is so low to the ground that it scrapes the bath mat away and results in water getting on the floor. Not even worth a mention!

Ventajas: We were surprised by the quality of breakfast especially as the breakfast area was quite small but everything was so fresh and flavourful and of a really high standard. They kept replenishing the breakfast area as well. We really enjoyed our stay and ended up staying in our room longer than we thought as we had a terrace and everything was so nice and comfortable. Really liked the bar area too.

Desventajas: I didn't like the perfume pumped through the air-con in the corridors and bedrooms. Infact we had to be moved as I suffer from asthma and it was effecting my breathing to a none perfumed floor (5) and room. The corridors are too dark, felt like a ship..

The check in staff did not advise that reservations were necessary for the rooftop bar - our 3 guests arrived, my husband requested the lift they called up & said it was ok. When my husband & guests got to the rooftop, they were seated in the restaurant. I managed to get it sorted out & we were “squeezed” in - very embarrassing. Your staff needs to advise hotel guests that RESERVATIONS are required.

Desventajas: Value for money - this hotel was similarly priced to 5 star London hotels but it does not deliver a similar experience. Housekeeping consisted of having the bed made (no turn down service or tidying). Poor hairdryer and minibar (they’ve opted for an ‘all inclusive’ style minibar which consists of water and Coca Cola, no snacks at all - would rather a chargeable bar with wider selection if that is how the hotel intends to play it). Breakfast is weird - they have a buffet and a la carte style (all a la carte items are charged additionally - fine but not fine to charge for a cappuccino or any other type of coffee that is not filter).

This turned out to be more expensive than we expected and the explanation offered for these daily rate differences was not explained to our satisfaction. Also, our rooms were warm at night with insufficient air conditioning in our rooms.

Ventajas: Nos encantó todo sobre el Radisson! No se puede ir mal, las habitaciones son gigantes y con camas de tamaño king se obtiene la más cómoda para dormir por la noche mientras en Londres! Desde el momento en que entras por la puerta, la atención al cliente es absolutamente impecable, que realmente se preocupan por ti y saber acerca de ti, recuerda que es muy bonito sentir que, especialmente después de las 12 horas de viaje en 8 zonas horarias para llegar allí. He was very nice, considerate : he offered water, drinks, a blanket and made sure I get a room as FAST as he could. Ventajas: Nos encantó todo sobre el Radisson! No se puede ir mal, las habitaciones son gigantes y con camas de tamaño king se obtiene la más cómoda para dormir por la noche mientras en Londres! Desde el momento en que entras por la puerta, la atención al cliente es absolutamente impecable, que realmente se preocupan por ti y saber acerca de ti, recuerda que es muy bonito sentir que, especialmente después de las 12 horas de viaje en 8 zonas horarias para llegar allí. He was very nice, considerate : he offered water, drinks, a blanket and made sure I get a room as FAST as he could. Desventajas: -For the price that we paid, I would have expected the rooms to be much bigger, and in general to be much nicer. (Also, they have these horrid faux fur throws on the end of the bed. Why? It adds nothing in terms of style and is outdated) -No bar or restaurant although they provide places locally to get a bite to eat. -The hotel is split into two parts and the hallways are so dark you can get a bit lost.

Desventajas: Conseguimos una buena tarifa de habitación, pero las bebidas, té, y el desayuno era tan caras como cabría esperar de un hotel de 5 estrellas en Londres central. Terminamos cambiando nuestra habitación dos veces, la primera vez en la sugerencia de los botones, porque no tienen ninguna vista. La segunda habitación tenía vistas pero era mucho más pequeña que las otras, y no tenía bañera. Nos cambiaron por tercera vez a nuestra petición y nos dieron una habitación maravillosa (pero sin vistas al río). El personal hizo que ambos fueran muy fácil.

Paintwork flaking off of woodwork, split silicone sealant around sink area. Your average premier Inn room was better than this...….and much cheaper. Frosted secondary double glazing on the windows, absolutely no view at all, pull aside the secondary glazing to reveal the middle of the building, pipes, ductwork and filth everywhere (explains the frosted glass).

Desventajas: Firstly I don’t like the service of the bell boy at the front gate. I have been to a lot of hotels including five stars but never have seen the attitude like the bell boys from that hotel. All are standing even though seeing the customer is taking luggages. Secondly I don’t like the attitude of front desks stuff. Already requested for an early check in as I have a meeting and I arrived the hotel at 2:30. It was half an hour before of that hotel policy to check in time. They won’t let me in until 3:03pm and said the room is not ready yet. Seeing the customer is waiting and sitting there for half an hour, they have no effort like asking the housekeeper whether the room is ready or no welcome drink at all. Thirdly, I don’t like the room. I booked a river view but the view of the window is so small and can’t even say it is a view. I am feeling my money for that view is not worth it. The room is so small and the hotel is very old. Fourth, the elevator is very old model 1000kgs type and very narrow. It was stopping once in every floor. Very disappointed to take that elevator. Fifthly, I stayed in that hotel at the raining day. The hotel is so old and so bad and even water drops are pouring drop by drop from the ceiling. I saw a bucket and it was collecting the rain drops in front of the elevator entrance of eighth floor. I was so shocked seeing the rain dropping from the ceiling. When I check about the hotel, it says “the Royal Horseguards” is a Five Star Hotel. I don’t know in what part it is being rated five stars. I will rate it not even a three star hotel.

However, when I returned at the regular check in time, the receptionist without checking with anyone, insisted the room still wasn't ready. Had to ask for the manager, who after checking with housekeeping, found the room was ready. Receptionist was not happy at being contradicted and was less than pleasant for the rest of the check-in process. Not offered breakfast discount on check-in so would have paid substantially more if I hadn't found out about the discount by accident. Stayed two nights. Mini-fridge was not restocked the second day. Took 45 minutes to get a bucket of ice and then felt guilty for asking for it when we found out the poor guy doing room service was the only one on duty. Seems like the hotel needs to amp up the staff numbers to provide the five star service you're paying for.

Las toallas eran tan suaves y enormes como el de cualquier hotel en el que he estado. La televisión era enormes en comparación con el tamaño de la habitación. El cuarto de baño y sus accesorios eran todos muy agradables y los artículos de tocador estaban también muy bien.
Si están dispuestos a negociar un montón de espacio para un precio inferior (bien, el precio más bajo para Londres) entonces esto puede ser una relación calidad-precio. También es bueno si no va a pasar mucho tiempo en el hotel, ya que es cómodo para dormir.

Ventajas: Extremadamente ordenado, práctico y funcional. El personal hizo todo lo posible para ayudar con cualquier cosa pequeña. La ubicación no puede ser mejor: Caminé hasta el Museo Británico en menos de media hora, y justo a la vuelta de la esquina del Teatro para fantasmas De Su Majest. Mi habitación era tranquila y sin ventanas, pero estoy bien con espacios pequeños; si no viaja solo, puede que se sienta agobiado.
Desventajas: No había nada que no me gustara de este hotel. Cuando vuelva a Londres lo reservaré de nuevo.

Ventajas: La ubicación es genial y la primera vez que me alojé en el hotel estaba más limpio. La habitación es muy básica pero la cama era cómoda. Nunca me alojaría aquí con una segunda persona. La habitación está bien para 1.
Desventajas: Tienen un pequeño mostrador de recepción en el medio de la cafetería, que estaba lleno cuando llegamos. He tenido que esperar más de 10 minutos de la hora de llegada y salida. Parece un poco desorganizado en el frente y necesita una zona adecuada de recepción.

Desventajas: Habitación pequeña. Apenas había espacio para moverse. La ducha se movía, era como ducharse con un rociador de cinta transportadora. Agua entró en la habitación porque era muy pequeña. Las fotos engañan!

Ventajas: Esta es una propiedad sin lujos pero que compensa con operaciones de servicios por su ubicación. Habitación más pequeña en la que me he alojado durante 30 años, más de 100 propiedades y 5000 noches. La habitación doble estaba 10X10 (pies) sin teléfono o en el armario. No hay lavandería o servicio de habitaciones. El servicio de despertador es un golpe en la puerta.

Ventajas: La ubicación fue excelente. El diseño y los materiales de la habitación son modernos y de calidad. Estaba muy limpio y había un claro enfoque sobre la calidad. Las toallas eran tan suaves y enormes como el de cualquier hotel en el que he estado. La televisión era enormes en comparación con el tamaño de la habitación. El cuarto de baño y sus accesorios eran todos muy agradables y los artículos de tocador estaban también muy bien.
Si están dispuestos a negociar un montón de espacio para un precio inferior (bien, el precio más bajo para Londres) entonces esto puede ser una relación calidad-precio. También es bueno si no va a pasar mucho tiempo en el hotel, ya que es cómodo para dormir.
Desventajas: La razón que las habitaciones son asequibles es porque las habitaciones son pequeñas. En verdad pequeñas ... como en su cama abarca toda la distancia de una pared. No hay armario, y a menos que tengas una de las habitaciones más grandes tendrás que poner tu equipaje en el suelo ya que no hay para dejar el equipaje. Eso es un reto porque la planta es realmente el camino desde la zona de la cama para el baño, así que tendrás que caminar por tu propio equipaje.
Si eres un viajero de negocios y necesita espacio de recepción es muy limitado o ausente. Tuve una habitación con un pequeño escritorio y otro donde tuve que usar la mesilla y un escritorio.
Las habitaciones son relativamente oscuras, incluso si las ventanas están abiertas porque se abren a una estrecha luz/patio. Tal vez hay más luz en los niveles más altos.

Ventajas: Great staff. Clean, well equipped and comfortable if not tiny room. The free cheese and wine before 8pm is brilliant and a marketing coup. It makes you forget you are staying in a micro-room. Air Con very efficient. Blackout blinds really help sleep. Good sound proofing. Comfortable bed.
Desventajas: Was on a business trip and an iron would have been useful. Great sound insulation save could hear running water from showers in other rooms - it was that or very noisy air-con. Not sure paying for a room with windows was worth it as was on the ground floor with opaque windows that were directly onto the pavement outside so just pulled down blackout blinds.

Desventajas: The room was very small Unfortunately for me the day I checked in the aircon wasn’t working so you can imagine after traveling from the middle of England to London I was hoping to rest when I arrived, but the room was so hot I couldn’t. It was August and 30 degrees so this was rather dissatisfying. The hotel did put a small fan in my room but I wasn’t able to sleep very well due to the discomfort. The hotel offered me a complimentary Breakfast

Desventajas: I had to walk down 8 flights of stairs from the restaurant because the lift was not working (better down than up!). The hotel interior is still under construction on the upper floors but I felt guests were quite well insulated agains it.

Desventajas: Construction work ongoing. Posters said noise would start st 9am. Rude 8am awakening. On top of that there are NO facilities. No TV. No kettle. Not even cups or glasses. There’s a nice bar upstairs, but you can’t take your drink back to your room to not watch your TV. It’s budget in the extreme, which is fine, but when you pay more than £300 for a night because who knows what is going on in London and all the hotels are insane prices, £300 is a lot of money for budget. Will NOT be returning.

Desventajas: Odd plastic coating to the carpets in the corridor, at least on the 6th floor where I was! I arrived tired and hungry at 10pm and there was no food to be had at all in the hotel. Had to go to a burger place opposite! The shower head (not the rainfall one above; the hand-held attachment) was slightly broken at the base spraying water out at an odd angle.

Desventajas: La puerta del baño a pesar de ser una puerta corrediza que tapa completo no tenia como poner candado. Usualmente valoramos nuestra privacidad. Adicional en el baño hacen falta estantes para poner los articulos de baño que uno lleva, pero fuera de eso muy bueno. No tiene Television en el cuarto, aunque hay personas que no quieren verla es una buena distraccion y adicional se pueden ver las noticias en este caso no teniamos tv.

Desventajas: There was a smell in the hallway on the 9th floor, nothing bad and I think the carpet was being cleaned in the morning to sort. Could of done with Coffee machine in room and dressing table as a lot of unused space could have been used.

Desventajas: The bed was squeaking with every little move, which was extremely annoying. The bed sofa's mattress was of poor quality and uncomfortable to sleep in. There was little natural light available.

Desventajas: There was no window in our bedroom and although there was a small opening window in the adjacent study nook, it felt quite claustrophobic. (The staff did their best by providing a small fan for air circulation.) The air conditioning unit was very noisy, but nothing that ear plugs didn’t fix.

Tenía todo lo necesario para la estancia: televisor, mesa de comedor, sillas, menaje de cocina, electrodomésticos (nevera, congelador, lavavajillas, campana extractora ...). Teníamos vistas al centro de Londres desde ambas habitaciones con amplias ventanas y menos de 5 minutos caminando a dos estaciones de metro principales. A un paseo cortito de Trafalgar Square, Picadilly Circus, Big-Ben, Convent Garden ... . En definitiva, si quieres el precio más bajo tal vez no sea el mejor lugar, pero si quieres lo mejor a un precio razonable y en el corazón de Londres lo recomendamos sin ninguna duda.

Ventajas: Su ubicación es excelente. Muy limpio, con una cocina pequeña con microondas, horno, lavavajillas, hervidor de agua eléctrico. Muy agradable para poder desayunar y no tener que cambiarse de ropa. Muy verde con una cisterna del inodoro que está coronada por un pequeño lavabo donde lavarse las manos y se llena automáticamente la cisterna del inodoro; ingenioso!!
Desventajas: Pequeñas cosas, también un poco oscuro en las habitaciones, pero eso es porque usar luces de ahorro de energía va bien conmigo.

Ventajas: La habitación tenía una cocina americana con una cocina, nevera, lavavajillas y vajilla y cristalería. Estos servicios prácticos para preparar una comida o tomar aperitivos a mano en vez de adquirir cada comida en un restaurante.
La habitación era de buen tamaño para un hotel europeo situado en el centro de la ciudad. La habitación y el baño estaban limpios y bien mantenidos.

Ventajas: Appreciated coffee machine in lobby. Also greatly appreciated the later check out especially since it was at no extra cost. The apart hotel makes for a more relaxed stay than a normal hotel. Front desk staff were very efficient and most helpful - well done!
Desventajas: Having requested a walk in shower it took a while on arrival to find the premises has none. Likewise it took a while to find out that the Hotel has no feather pillows - this was important as some pillows felt like feathers. Hand rails at the entrance steps were sadly lacking. I'm not sure that preserving the character of the original building is a good enough excuse for this. Disability access is important these days.

Ventajas: Location is amazing close to Trafalgar Square and the Tube lines (Charing Cross and Embankment Station). The staff were really good even though I got some negative vibes from one after I made complaint around air conditioning breaking down and how it was handled.
Desventajas: I had room 112 (17-21 Sept) which had tired decor and non functioning air conditioning. Air con had broken down which they had to then switch off for the whole building (which happened after a recent repair) and would be non functioning for another 2 weeks (according to them). Staff provided a fan AND portable air con unit which made the room just survivable. It’s an old building which needs work. My impression is that the hotel group is milking profit from the location and using it for staff training. The staff I encountered were doing their best with great attitudes but clearly no real accountability or ownership with front desk managers coming and going on a daily basis. Almost felt a sense that they knew the building is working against them and having to deal with grumpy customers for a day to develop better service skills.

Desventajas: Por mencionar algo negativo, a nuestro parecer los colchones eran algo blandos y también hubiera estado bien que nos cambiaran las toallas al menos todos los días, pero teniendo en cuenta que habíamos leido comentarios en los que decían que solo lo hacían una vez a la semana, hay que decir que a nosotros nos dejaron toallas nuevas cada 2 días.

We expected it to be quite loud but found the hotel to be extremely quiet and comfortable during our stay there. The hotel has a very funky vibe and is suited to travellers who don't mind being in the heart of the action and looking for a modern hotel. The room was comfortable and had all the modern conveniences one would expect from a hotel of W's size. Overall, a pretty good stay!

Desventajas: El desayuno para lo que cobran no me parece los suficientemente variado en cuanto a bollería, es cierto que tenían muchos productos de yogures, fruta y zumos de verduras y demás, pero bollería tenía cuatro bollos, en otros hoteles en los que he estado de la misma categoría había más variedad de dulce, además de los clásicos croissants y caracolas, tenían tartas. Aquí encuentras tres tipos de bollería. Por la noche en la habitación hacía demasiado calor a pesar de tener la calefacción apagada. El resto fenomenal.

Bathrooms and showers were cleaned throughout the day and spotless. Staff were very helpful especially with luggage when the lift was out of order. Common area/ pub was cheery and the breakfast included was really good value. Dinner menu was wholesome, good size portions and also good value. I also liked the fact that there were a decent number of vegetarian options - and that there is a Tesco and a Boots really nearby for any other needs.

Desventajas: All doors were closing very noisy. They should be repaired. For this reason, we cant sleep first night of our stay and we bought earplug. We booked double room but not feel comfortable only for this reason. Also, I think, double rooms should be located further away from crowded dormitories.

Desventajas: La habitación era tan pequeña (literalmente cama de pared a pared) que no había dónde poner nada. Estaba viajando con mi hija, así que compartir una cama no era ideal. Nos pusieron en una habitación del sótano sin ventana, así que estaba oscuro, lo cual estaba bien para dormir, pero parecía peligroso si hubiera un incendio y hubiera sido un poco deprimente si hubiéramos querido estar más en la habitación.

Ventajas: I have stayed in Mimis many times. I like the location very much, close to nice restaurants which are still open when I finish work.
Desventajas: The size of the rooms is fine. I find them cosy and generally sleep very well, which is one of the reasons I choose to stay there. In fact this room was a little large than normal. However on this occasion there were several issues which caused me a big problem - I essentially got no sleep at all: (i) the thermostat seemed broken causing fluctuations in temperature; (ii) the walls were very thin and I could hear the neighbour performing all of his/her bathroom functions, including regular vomiting; (iii) the light switches were broken and there was no way to turn off all the lights. The lights were on all night.

Desventajas: 3rd stay here and can't believe how it has deteriorated. Majority of staff came across very unhappy and unfriendly. Service at breakfast was non existent, no offer of coffee , had to ask for food to be restocked at the hot buffet. Dining area was dirty especially on tables and chairs . Paid for a bigger room which was lovely but were not told bathroom was set up for disabled use ,which is great to see but takes the edge of a bit of luxury when spending that bit more. Burnt my head as shower kept fluctuating in temperature to the extreme,which is very concerning if it is being used by anyone with a disability. Couldn't get signal on the TV.

Desventajas: When I arrived at 10 am I asked for early check-in as I had requested by mail and phone already, invoking business meetings at noon for which I had to shower and dress and the fact that I was going to leave at 6 am the next day and would thus occupy the room less than 24h. The answer was a stereotype "we have no availability now, have to put you on waiting list, cannot guarantee you will get a room before 14h". Only when I insisted, mentioning that someone had just checked out in front of me and that it would certainly not take more than an hour to make up that room and that otherwise I would have to look further and cancel my reservation did the staff take the "trouble" of calling housekeeping. And - surprise - there were actually two nice rooms free and ready on the top floor ! Afterwards the staff became very friendly and accomodating though, allowing me to have my breakfast (which was included) on the day of arrival rather than of the departure which would have been too early. I cannot say whether the initial formality and lack of flexibility and disposition is company policy or was due to the attitude of the two people at the reception.
