Desventajas: There were no lights in the hallway to your room as they switched off over a week ago and no repairs have been undertaken. This is a major Health and Safety issue and a potential accident waiting to happen. This was pointed out to the assistant manager and she did not understand the seriousness of this?? The booking confirmed you get a free mini bar. This is misleading, what it should say is you get a couple of soft drinks and minor snacks.

Desventajas: Suite was very disappointing. On ground floor with Frosted glass for privacy which made it feel claustrophobic and bed very uncomfortable. The little room they had added on to constitute the room as a suite was of no use as no chairs to actually make use of it. Some staff were not as pleasant and unwelcoming.

Desventajas: The service at breakfast was appalling, plenty of friendly staff. However the system is dreadful. Waited 15 minutes for tea and coffee then the order was wrong. the toast we ordered at the same time as the drinks came after 30+ minutes, too late to eat with hot food, and when it arrived was cold and hard like toast when it's been hanging about for several hours. The receptionist had said he would book us in for dinner, however he didn't, fortunately they managed to fit us in. The service for dinner was as poor as at breakfast. Over 25 minutes wait for our drinks - which should have been apperitives, during the time we waited the neighbouring table had been served 3 times! Our drinks arrived with the food. The food itself was ok, pricey but we expected that for where it was. It was a special occasion 50th wedding anniversary and birthday but although we had mentioned this, no offer of anything to celebrate which is what is the norm in every other restaurant I've been in. On checking out all the above was mentioned to the receptionist and she did then eventually remove the service charges. All this did colour our stay - it was a one off very expensive treat for 2 special occasions - the hotel and room facilities, cleanliness etc were excellent but the experience was spoiled by such appalling service.

The breakfast was quite good as well. Not a huge variety but enough, and the stuff they offered was fresh and tasty! The location is not perfect, but close enough. It cloud be closer to an underground station, or with more iconic views but it is in a relative quiet site and lot’s of London great attractions are within walking distance.

Desventajas: Well, we picked a room with mood lighting and we got ‘upgraded’ to a ‘quiet room with garden view’. The garden view hardly deserves that name though. Its a view to a center patio with some plants. And the quiet room turned out to be a room adapted specifically for people in a wheelchair. I guess it’s a bit more spacious, but it also lacked the mood lighting.

Desventajas: Couldn't use the roof terrace as it is only for guests staying in the executive suits. Should not put those pictures up or make it very clear it is not for the use of all guests. Ball pit wasn't in use. I contacted the hotel after booking the room and noticing it only had a king size bed but we had a 10yr old with us and had entered that in the search criteria. I was told thy wld put an extra bed in the room. On arrival whn i went to my room it was just a double room with one bed with the view of a wall. Went back to reception the gent said thy didn't have any notes about the extra bed but they can put one in to the room. I wasn't happy with this as the room was way too small for another bed to go in there. The gent was very helpful and put us in a deluxe family room which was great it did the job.

Desventajas: Where to start! Construction site right outside our window!! Drilling , sawing and banging!! Then there was the cellphone tower about 5 metres away slightly above the window. Then there was the fixtures such as the coat hanger that was falling out the wall, so very little maintenance. Our pass key did not work at first and it took some time to fix. Paid top dollar - a rip off!

Ventajas: I loved the quirkiness of the hotel. From the reception area, breakfast area, lifts and our rooms there was so much to see. All staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room was slightly bigger than some London hotels. It was very comfortable and quiet, with a good view of the Shard. Excellent location for seeing the sites on the south bank. I would definitely stay here again

I ordered something to be delivered to the hotel and when I arrived, not only the parcel was already in my room but also there was a plate of freshly cut fruit waiting and with a handwritten welcome note. What a pleasant surprise! The deco and the design of the hotel was really funky and unique. It totally exceeds my expectations. I highly recommend anyone traveling to London to stay at this place!

Ventajas: I loved the quirkiness of the hotel. From the reception area, breakfast area, lifts and our rooms there was so much to see. All staff were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast a little better on second morning, Staff failed to address the issue with A/C in the room making it very uncomfortable 76 degree F too warm and system would not cool the room down. Desventajas: We booked a family room and were given a disabled room. There was a double bed and sofa bed which was fine and to be expected. The bathroom was also a disabled access bathroom which means there was an open shower and also there were no surface in the bathroom to rest your belongings(toiletry bags, toothbrush etc etc) The worst was that the shower did not heat up in the morning, we had to have cold showers and leave as we were on a strict time schedule. This hotel is ideal for me as my daughter lives in Bermondsey but I think I'll have to search for other alternatives. The hotel receptionist didn't seem too bothered when I told him about the shower being cold.

Desventajas: Though i love the design of the place and the free tea and coffee and chocolates and chilli jam a really nice touch it is ultimately about a good nights sleep and sadly the bed i had was terrible (thin mattress, squeaky springs) and next to a shared loo i was told was only for my room and one other and yet during the night it must have been used 6-8 times loudly and again numerous times in the morning, The loud fan for the bathroom was left off as if the light is it stays on. The doors all seem to bang loudly which again makes it very hard to sleep for any period at all. Little changes could greatly fix all this (better mattress and bed, auto switch off for the fan, door catches to minimise slamming shut and signage to limit who uses the shared bathrooms. It's a lovely themed place , nice staff, good location and lovely extras but if you're awake most of the night it's hard for that to matter much.

Ventajas: La ubicación, si bien no está en el mismo centro, pero la zona es tranquila más residencial que otros hoteles que también estuvimos buscando y tiene facilidades tanto para el metro como el tren. Esta bastante socorrido. El personal simpatiquisimo con sus buenas intenciones de poderte atender. Y el desayuno bufet bien surtido.

Desventajas: El Hotel es bastante cálido pero el mobiliario de las habitaciones no te dan lo elemental. Las camas con los colchones vencidos por más que le dieron la vuelta seguían vencidos. Salimos con dolores de espalda. Lo que uno quiere cuando llega a un hotel es poder descansar y acá no lo hicimos.Ademas le falta algo más de moviliario como un pequeño ropero o algo parecido donde colgar tu ropa. O poner cajonera.

Staff are uniformly excellent and go out of their way to help. Given very solid price for a London hotel, it's worth giving it a thought.

Desventajas: The customer service was really really bad, we have request a fridge and no one came. I have request a birthday cake 1 week before and no one gave for my husband birthday on that day. I am very disappointed and sad. The room they gave us which is 189 was not cleaned and very very small as we not expected. They gave us anther room which was 615 and it was ok. But I was still not happy with the services. It was nightmare.

Desventajas: Rooms are decent but not amazing. Smoking was not allowed even on balconies, which was a first for me. Breakfast slightly above average, frankly speaking not worth the £20 price tag. Generally, the food in the hotel was a hit and miss: rubber-like halloumi strips, bland burger, but also exquisite cheese & brisket sandwich. After midnight this hotel becomes quite difficult to reach, with no Tube station around.

Ventajas: The hostel is close to the underground station in Zone 1, so it's easy and cheap to move around the city center. The hostel has wifi-coverage everywhere in the building.
Desventajas: The place has 1 shower for 3-5 rooms, which accomodate at least 12-20 people. The showers are always dirty: water on the floor, because there are now drains in it, toilet paper floating in the water, and dirty toilet seats. In addition to that, if there is a young and impatient visitor, he's gonna bang on the shower's door and shout at you, as it happened with me, because there is just one shower. And my shower had 2 rather large spiders living in it (not kidding!). The 4-bed room I stayed in had a cracked window and dirty walls. The beds are uncomfortable for your back, because the hostel uses thick sport mats with rubber cover instead of mattresses. And these mats are also very loud, so you hear them every time somebody changes his/her posture in bed. The curtains that covered my bed space were stained. The bed was a bit short for me, a 173 cm person. The bar inside the hostel didn't have some food/wine from its menu on 2 occasions. You can't get a towel for free or rent it, only buy for 5.50 pounds. You can't leave your suitcase in the locker room without paying for the locker, even if you agree not to put it in the locker and just leave in the room unattended.
