Desventajas: Que la segunda noche a las 6 de la mañana sonó la alarma y nos mandaron desalojar la habitación y estuvimos en el hall, más o menos una hora y nadie nos ha dicho que ha pasado ni nos han dado explicaciones, solamente con una nota en la habitación nos han agradecido nuestra cooperación en el desalojo

Desventajas: There were no lights in the hallway to your room as they switched off over a week ago and no repairs have been undertaken. This is a major Health and Safety issue and a potential accident waiting to happen. This was pointed out to the assistant manager and she did not understand the seriousness of this?? The booking confirmed you get a free mini bar. This is misleading, what it should say is you get a couple of soft drinks and minor snacks.

Desventajas: Suite was very disappointing. On ground floor with Frosted glass for privacy which made it feel claustrophobic and bed very uncomfortable. The little room they had added on to constitute the room as a suite was of no use as no chairs to actually make use of it. Some staff were not as pleasant and unwelcoming.

Desventajas: The service at breakfast was appalling, plenty of friendly staff. However the system is dreadful. Waited 15 minutes for tea and coffee then the order was wrong. the toast we ordered at the same time as the drinks came after 30+ minutes, too late to eat with hot food, and when it arrived was cold and hard like toast when it's been hanging about for several hours. The receptionist had said he would book us in for dinner, however he didn't, fortunately they managed to fit us in. The service for dinner was as poor as at breakfast. Over 25 minutes wait for our drinks - which should have been apperitives, during the time we waited the neighbouring table had been served 3 times! Our drinks arrived with the food. The food itself was ok, pricey but we expected that for where it was. It was a special occasion 50th wedding anniversary and birthday but although we had mentioned this, no offer of anything to celebrate which is what is the norm in every other restaurant I've been in. On checking out all the above was mentioned to the receptionist and she did then eventually remove the service charges. All this did colour our stay - it was a one off very expensive treat for 2 special occasions - the hotel and room facilities, cleanliness etc were excellent but the experience was spoiled by such appalling service.

You will be amazed how user-friendly everything is! The views from the 'cloudM' rooftop bar is just stunning! Desventajas: Room had an artificial smell as can’t open windows, air con temp didn’t seem to change when we set it to lower ,not sure how many days wd like to breathe that recycled air , initially didn’t appreciate lack of room kettle but we did enjoy the experience once downstairs in communal lounge . Downside if Climate concerned as all mainly plastic artificial materials , apart from books !

We were celebrating our anniversary and upon arriving we had a beautiful desert awaiting us in our room wishing us a Happy Anniversary. The location of the hotel is excellent, within walking distance of the Tower Bridge and many other attractions and if not the subway station was within a block. We would be more than happy to stay at the Apex again.

Ventajas: Can’t say enough good things about this hotel. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, the food at the restaurant is delicious, and the location is great. Tower Hill tube station is just across the road, the Tower of London and Tower Bridge are a 5 minute walk, and there are tons of great pubs and restaurants nearby. The rooms are modern and very clean. I will definitely stay here again when I return to London.

Desventajas: Me alojé en el Ned un sábado por la noche, así que la zona del bar/restaurante de la planta baja estaba extremadamente ocupada. Esto a su vez causó bastante ruido. Mi habitación era bastante baja, así que tal vez si tienes una habitación en un piso más alto el ruido no será un problema. Honestamente, no me molestaba nada, pero quería mencionarlo, ya que podría hacerlo para algunas personas. Suministran tapones para los oídos en la habitación.

Desventajas: We had some trouble with checking into the hotel and spent almost an hour standing at the reception desk before being checked in. We had paid for a double room with included both a shower and separate bath. There was no bath. The room itself looked nice but was not as big as advertised. We came back to the room after enjoying drinks and entertainment downstairs within the hotel. Pulled back the bed covers to find a nice dirty sock that didn’t belong to us. In the morning we woke up to a foul blocked toilet that absolutely stank and was quite obviously out of use. We called the hotel staff who told us there wasn’t actually anything they could do about it immediately and would send an engineer. However the issue still wasn’t even attended to by the time we checked out. Extremely disappointing given the amazing reviews we read about before choosing this hotel.

Desventajas: THE WEED/CANNABIS SMELL!!!!! Whenever you leave your room with aircon on, the moment you come back you will smell a strong weed like smell throughout the whole room. Number of times we we came back from sightseeing, we would have to open our door to the foyer hallway to air out the smell. The staff said it was due to the outside gutter smell of London and the staff were kind enough to offer a change of room the following monday as they were very booked out that weekend however since we just arrived after a 22hr flight from Australia we were just really tired.

Desventajas: Couldn't use the roof terrace as it is only for guests staying in the executive suits. Should not put those pictures up or make it very clear it is not for the use of all guests. Ball pit wasn't in use. I contacted the hotel after booking the room and noticing it only had a king size bed but we had a 10yr old with us and had entered that in the search criteria. I was told thy wld put an extra bed in the room. On arrival whn i went to my room it was just a double room with one bed with the view of a wall. Went back to reception the gent said thy didn't have any notes about the extra bed but they can put one in to the room. I wasn't happy with this as the room was way too small for another bed to go in there. The gent was very helpful and put us in a deluxe family room which was great it did the job.

Ventajas: We arrived hours before check in and were planning to just drop off our bags, but were happy to be able to check in early and get settled before heading off for the day. Our room was comfortable, and for being on the 8th floor we had a nice view of some of the famous skyscrapers in the area. Room service was excellent after a long night out and breakfast at the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced.
Desventajas: The tube stop directly next door was closed for weekend maintenance, so we found ourselves having to walk to and from either Liverpool St or East Aldgate. This was not the hotel’s fault but it was a minor inconvenience considering we picked the hotel based on the fact it was next to a station. I imagine if you’re staying here during the week that’s not an issue but weekend trip guests might want to reconsider, especially if you’re like us and had heavy bags. The rooftop bar was a fabulous view but £27 for two drinks was a double take. But that’s London, so.

Desventajas: Where to start! Construction site right outside our window!! Drilling , sawing and banging!! Then there was the cellphone tower about 5 metres away slightly above the window. Then there was the fixtures such as the coat hanger that was falling out the wall, so very little maintenance. Our pass key did not work at first and it took some time to fix. Paid top dollar - a rip off!

Desventajas: We booked a family room and were given a disabled room. There was a double bed and sofa bed which was fine and to be expected. The bathroom was also a disabled access bathroom which means there was an open shower and also there were no surface in the bathroom to rest your belongings(toiletry bags, toothbrush etc etc) The worst was that the shower did not heat up in the morning, we had to have cold showers and leave as we were on a strict time schedule. This hotel is ideal for me as my daughter lives in Bermondsey but I think I'll have to search for other alternatives. The hotel receptionist didn't seem too bothered when I told him about the shower being cold.

Ventajas: I travel on a weekly basis and this was my first time at the hotel. I was impressed with the room and overall very happy with everything ! Had breakfast delivered to room and it was pleasant not incredible. It was clean and that is a big priority for me. Outside seating area is cute. And the fact that there are lots of local shops near is great.
Desventajas: Despite having a do not disturb sign on the door. It must have been about 4 times someone came in while I was half naked. VERY annoying. I had to write a note next to the do not disturb sign saying basically come on guys lol. Go away

Desventajas: Despite I have booked not the standard, but executive room, chosen based on the pictures on booking.com, I have got the room very different from what was on the picture. The room was old, the same which was on the pictures of standard room. Furniture is old as well as carpets. While my colleague who have booked cheaper, standard room got the renovated modern room. Reception explained that the room differs by its amenities and the access to the lounge, which was strange as I have chosen and paid for the room at the picture and it was very weird that the standards are better in this hotel. Was disappointed. Will not go to this hotel anymore, since they haven’t explained how to get renovated modern room paying for it and why it didn’t reflect the picture on the booking...

Desventajas: Since our last visit however, it has been taken over by another chain and there are a few things that need attention paying to them. In the spa area the pool was poorly lite and half of lights were not working over the pool area - the jacuzzi was out of action and the general appearance of the changing rooms are looking a little tired. We stayed in room 901 and the noise from lifts was constant throughout the day and night.

Ventajas: El tamaño de la habitación era bastante grande para una gran ciudad como Londres. Incluso había una nevera y un microondas en mi habitación. Me gustó que durante la semana hay refrescos y aperitivos ligeros disponibles de forma gratuita. También visité el restaurante del hotel y fue muy bueno, además ofrecían un 15% de descuento.
Desventajas: La ubicación era buena porque estaba cerca de 2 lugares subterráneos, sin embargo, había otro CQ que estaba más centralmente ubicado.

Ventajas: El desagüe de la ducha no tragaba, agua en los pies. La puerta estaba rota. Era difícil de cerrar. Parecía que la habitación era más grande, pero no fue así. Tenía un olor a moho...

Ventajas: Estancia maravillosa. El personal era amable y servicial. Me gustó especialmente el agua purificada y fresca en botellas cerca del ascensor. Muy cerca de pubs, restaurantes y medios de transporte.

Ventajas: Good location right next to the market and near the city locations close to tube links and bus routes into central London.
Desventajas: The bed was shockingly bad and the pillows were useless. The room is fine but small and noisy against the outside guests. Facilities are fine but for the money paid it’s not overly great value.

Ventajas: Me gusto los detalles que tuviesen agua embotellada gratis por todas las zonas del hotel, y de mas servicios, como gimnasio, “snack y cafe” y varias cosas más totalmente gratuitas , hotel moderno y buen ubicado. Personalmente repetiría

Ventajas: I liked the complimentary water on the floor of the rooms and coffee in the foyer. Staff were pleasant. Quick check in .
Desventajas: My room was tired. Shower is tiny and water spilled out on the floor. Desk was hanging off the wall. Quite a noisy corridor with room doors banging all hours. More at fault would be other guests.

Ventajas: Habitación con una cama grande y comodisíma, de las mejores en las que he dormido. Está situado cerca de la estación de Liverpool Street y a un pequeño paseo de la Torre de Londres. Tiene el metro bastante cerca.
Desventajas: Quitando la cama, la habitación es de muy modestas dimensiones. Nada más llegar hay que dejar una fianza, que luego no te cobran. Es política del Hotel y es respetable, pero a mí es una practica que no me gusta para un hotel de cierta categoría.

Ventajas: It's locatIon, staff and it's good value for money.
Desventajas: The common area is pretty smelly and dirty. Also the corridors are really stuffy. The place doesn't have a kitchen just a microwave. Bathroom shower was too strong when you want to use warm water and the water doesn't drain well.

Desventajas: The aircon didn't work so the room was very stuffy and smelly. Bedding wasn't very good (pillow and blanket). Would rather stay somewhere else next time.

Desventajas: When I arrived I saw that my bed wasn’t done, I didn’t have a pillow and they had parties every night so if you are looking for something quieter this is not your place

Desventajas: Deberían de limpiar el interior de las clapsulas, no solo cambiar sábanas, la limpieza de los baños debería de mejorar un 90%. La cocina no es cocina pero deberían de limpiarla constantemente ya q era muy sucia al igual q la mayoría de los baños.

Desventajas: Very noisy as above a sports bar even with earplugs, I found the room generally dirty although the sheets were clean (the duvet was stained underneath though). Toilets and showers were cleaner than the room.
