Nice, comfortable furnishings, large rooms, very clean. Free cookies and extensive breakfast options. This is a nice hotel, and one of the few that can easily accommodate more than 4 people in a room. Upon arrival I was told our room had been given away and that they had tried to contact me all day to see if we were in fact going to show up. I showed them my phone which had no missed calls or voicemails. They had not called me. They of course apologized and said they'd call a sister property to see if they had a room that could accommodate my family of 6 (I had reserved a room with two queens and a sofa bed). No rooms available at the sister property. I finally asked what they had available at this location and they gave us a king executive suite with a rollaway bed. Still not ideal, as one of my kids slept on the floor, but better than trekking across town after an exhausting day at Elitch's. The final insult was getting the bill the next morning. I was told we'd be given the upgraded room with a 10% discount. Even with the discount I still ended up paying $50 more than I would've for my original room they gave away!
The rooms were very nice and new - super clean and had everything we needed! It felt luxury - especially for the price. It is NOT Downtown. It took us 10-15 minutes ($15) in a cab or Uber to get Downtown. It's not walkable either. Its right off the highway - 1 or 2 exits out of Downtown. Although this hotel is in the category of downtown, it is not what I was expecting.
Brand new. New mattress, bedding, tv, etc. Walls and floors are thin. You can hear footsteps from the room above.
Newer, good breakfast friendly staff. Staff didn't check us in when we got in, gave us keys and marked us as cancelled. The next day my key didn't work and cleaning staff almost took all of our stuff out of the room while we were gone. Got back just in time.
