The Hilton Park Cities was very accommodating, friendly and nice. The lobby, pool and room was very clean. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back.
Nice sized rooms and nice amenities. Part of the room needed to be repainted and it looked like someone had plastered liquid all over one of the walls.
Lovely staff, very sweet to my 82 year old fussy mother which was in another room. Extremely clean. Crisp sheets, lots of pillows ... make for a beautiful nights sleep. Bellman extremely helpful, prompt (even in the snow) and delightful. The lunch and service in the cafe wasn't very good for the price. But lots of lovely places to eat near by and to be fair our stay was over the Christmas holiday so I am sure they were running with limited staff.
The bed, the pillows, the sheets, the large bathroom, the scallops, the bar & bar service (Mark was great!), the staff (switched me into another room in seconds at 4am bc my previous room was noisy - and gave me complimentary exclusive 10th-floor breakfast! I wasn't even upset about having to change rooms!) The valet & overnight garage is way pricey - $24 for the night! Also, where was the Hilton robe?
The location of the Lumen is excellent - right in the heart of University Park and within walking distance of good restaurants and safe places to go running/jogging. My room smelled like smoke and had clearly been vacated by someone else right before I arrived (probably because it smelled like smoke). The closet doors were open when I got to the room, and certain random lights were on. The window was tiny and overlooked an alley. While I loved the location of this hotel, the room itself was pretty awful.
