Beauty and comfort. Views of city and mountains everywhere. Great breakfast, and wonderful staff. Terrific appointments, like being in an art gallery!
every need was met with a smile and offers to help organise even booking a local restaurant to help, great knowledge of local area
A small but well equipped guest house witha perosnal touch. Staff were extremely helpful-nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend Abbey Manor.
The welcome, attentiveness, attention to detail, comfort and overall ambience.
The friendliness of the staff and the surroundings. They really made us feel so welocome. The best experience I have ever had.
extremely helpful staff, well appointed rooms, excellent facilities in room, large rooms, wonderful balcony terrace, good breakfast, excellent location
The hosts were gracious, the setting spectacular, and the room very comfortable.
We were upgraded to a room with a balconey overlooking Cape Town. Large, lovely room with sitting area. Fresh fruit awaiting us in our room. Lovely veranda where we took breakfast each morning. Mali and Lisa very helpful. Appreciated being able to use their computer to check internet and the like. No safe in the room (although one available in the office) and even though I have an African outlet adapter, this didn't fit. I didn't ask if they had other adapters, so perhaps this could easily have been remedied. Navigating the steps with two suitcases, to get into the B&B, was a bit tricky. Not sure if there was someone available to help if we'd asked for it, but it wasn't offered when we rang the bell to be let in the gate.
The staff were all excellent. The facilities, the room, and the food completely met our expectations.
The friendly staff, pleasant surroundings of the guest house and its african feel. The pool area and roof top terrace also definite pluses. I liked everything.
The Hotel/Guest House was superb and in a great location for exploring the sights of Cape Town and surrounding areas. Our room (Colonial) was wonderful and had amazing views of Table Mountain and Lions Head.We also had great access to the roof top terrace and its panoramic views.Staff where excellent and the breakfasts ideal at the start of each day. The accomodation was 'First Class' from start to finish and no faults could be found.
A beautiful house in a lovely location with great views of Capetown and table mountain.
The owner was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. Breakfast area was charming and the breakfasts included a variety of delicious options including fresh fruit. The neighborhood is lovely and walkable
situated close to all amenities. rooms not clean
Excellent position in a quiet residential area with an very friendly and helpful owner. Good english breakfast offered and tea/coffe facilities always available in the dining room.
Comfortable rooms - very well equipped. Central location. Nothing
Location and price
Friendly proprieter; good location for my particular purpose - Table Mountain, Cape Town and surounding places of interest. Lack of tea/coffee making facility in room. Whilst this was available in dining room, during my stay no milk was ever provided. Also, from my first morning at this establishment I developed a mild stomach problem which continued throughout the stay but disappeared immediately after vacating. This may be a coincidence but it may not be - drinking water supply? Believe a need to reduce rate. This based on all other establishments used on my trip (booked through Booking.Com and booked directly). Please note: the comments above are very much a personal view and are not intended as a professional assessment.
Good location for City Bowl area. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was small and cramped. Bathroom very cramped with barely enough room to use the toilet. Shower also small with low water pressure.
The hotel owners were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was fantastic! The location is also awesome, being just underneath Table Mountain.
