Ventajas: A must stay for anyone traveling to Fez while in Morocco. Beautiful Riad centrally located in the old city. The team at Ryad Alya were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. The breakfast was fantastic. Highly recommended!

Desventajas: No dislikes

Ventajas: Me gustó mucho la estética del lugar. El patio espectacular!!!. La atención por parte del personal estupenda y el desayuno fantástico. La ubicación también es buena, muy cerca de la Puerta Azul para explorar la Medina y muy cerca de la Plaza Batha, como punto de partida para visitar otros lugares.

Ventajas: The location fairly central in the medina but not too noisy with amazing views from the roof terrace. The air conditioning and WiFi worked well. The staff were exceptional, they organised transport between the airport and riad, were very welcoming, gave us a great orientation and all recommendations all in superb English.

Ventajas: Poder pasar 2 noches en este ryad fue una experiencia genial. Habíamos estado en varios a lo largo de nuestro viaje por Marruecos pero, sin duda, este fue el mejor. No solo por el ryad en si, que es precioso, sino por las personas que trabajan en él y que te hacen sentir como en casa.

Ventajas: The Riad is beautiful and our Casa Suite is stunning and comfortable. The beds are huge, firm and very comfortable. The room is very clean. The staff is helpful, professional and warm, we were very well looked after. The Hamam is a great experience. The location of the riad is very convenient inside the marina. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Ventajas: The most lovely and pro-active staff, the Riad is very beautiful and very clean. They have a real hammam. Food is very good and varied. Room was spacious and very clean. The overall atmosphere of this Riad is just great, calm, welcoming.

Ventajas: Great location 3 mins walking distance to Batha door and main restaurants. The Ryad is really quite and made me feel at home, with a nice welcome drink (tea and biscuits). Room equipped with everything you need for your stay. Breakfast was excellent also, with fresh fruits, yogurt, and also pastries and local cakes (I loved the rice pudding, had two of them hehe). Staff is the cherry on the cake, super friendly and ready to assist you in case of need. Would defo come back!!!

Desventajas: The fact i stayed two nights only :(

Ventajas: It was so beautiful and clean and the staff was so friendly and nice. It was an all around excellent experience and I recommend 10 out of 10. Thats definitely my spot to stay anytime im in Fez.

Desventajas: Nothing. Everything was great.

Ventajas: Riad was amazing, so clean and staff were so friendly and accomadating, especially Simon he could not have been more helpful with information and organising a trip to the blue city, would highly recommend staying here, very comfortable and peaceful ambiance.

Ventajas: Staff very kind and accommodating. The riad was quiet and peaceful and I rarely saw anyone else there. My room was well-decorated, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and good. Bed was large and comfortable with good quality bedding.

Desventajas: Small thing, but perhaps the bathroom could be refreshed with a bath or new shower. I wasn't able to close the shutter in the bathroom so it jutted into the shower. I would have liked the option of a more Moroccan breakfast.

Ventajas: We wanted a double bed instead of singles and they upgraded us for free as it was low season. They provided great advice and organised a great walking tour for us. This place is AMAZING !!! We asked for an omellette as part of breakfast and this was not a problem. Mohamed is a sweerheart.

Desventajas: Nothing comes to mind.

Ventajas: Everything. From the moment I walked in Mohammed was incredible. He brought me tea and cookies. Gave me a tour of the hotel and my room. It was easily one of my favorite experiences of my entire trip. I will be coming back.

Ventajas: Muy bonito, grande pero íntimo al mismo tiempo. El servicio es muy personalizado.

Desventajas: Me hubiera gustado tener una ventana al exterior, pero se trata de un Riad. Sin embargo había un enorme tragaluz sobre el patio.

Ventajas: The lobby and staffs are good and beautiful. The bed is very comfortable. I would recommend this raid.

Desventajas: We need to paid two taxes, but I just know the city tax for each person (2 euros) in booking.com. The other one local tax total around 60 darham we don’t know from the booking.com.

Ventajas: El lugar es bonito por en las zonas comunes.

Desventajas: La cama es terrible, deformada y casi imposible de dormir. Las almohadas malas. Adicional el cuarto era muy oscuro, pequeño y olía a húmedo.

Ventajas: Central location, wonderful staff, lovely food, and gorgeous rooms.

Ventajas: It's really worth to stay here! Very good position, in old Medina, nice and so kind stuff and very clean all the hotel. The rooms are so big and lovely decorated! Our breakfast it was good with homemade yogurt and fresh juice etc and we also have a great dinner with local flavors like lamp with eggplants and variety of maroccon salads. Generally it's definitely a very good choice in Fes!!!

Ventajas: Llegamos muy tarde al hotel casi a media noche (nuestro vuelo llegaba a las 23:30h) . Cuando llegamos con nuestro taxi (contratado también por booking) el personal del Riad nos estaba esperando fuera de las callecitas para entrar en el Riad. Es un poco complicado entrar la primera vez, y más de noche. Fue un detallazo que nos vinieran a buscar (y sin nosotros decir nada!) Cenamos una dia en el Riad y la comida estaba muy buena. Mucha cantidad. El patio es muy bonito. Buena atención por parte de todos los empleados. Muy cerca de todo.

Ventajas: Immaculate hotel. Stunning Riad. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location.

Desventajas: They did not provide a cot for our baby despite the fact we requested one before our arrival and there was no baby chair at all so having breakfast was difficult for us. No maps provided at reception.

Ventajas: Localization is perfect. Staff is amazing... all of then. Very good rooms, showers, and breakfast. I RECOMEND.

Ventajas: Perfect place. The location is Perfect. The staff, oh my GOD... they are very kind. BEAUTIFUL place.... each detail isperfect in the Riad Myra. I tottaly recomend.

Ventajas: Idris and Yussuf are great, work very hard to accommodate their customers, and are very helpful. The food is fantastic, and I would strongly recommend eating in the hotel for dinner.

Desventajas: Minor things only. One of the airconditioners wasn't working, but we had another.

Ventajas: Great hotel in the Medina, room was absolutely amazing but quite noisy as it was on the ground floor next to the dining area. The evening set menu was really good and the breakfasts were excellent. Staff were all helpful and friendly

Ventajas: The hosts are the most hospitable people I have ever met ! They are very kind and they take care of you as much as they can! The chicken pastille is the best we tried and thank you again Idriss for cooking for us although we asked you last minute! The day tour at Fes they can organize worths a lot as the local guide speaks perfect English and you will learn everything without getting tired at all! The riad is very stylish and traditional, the roof has very nice view of the Médina specially at night and you can hear the prays which is very atmospheric! Everything was perfect!

Ventajas: El trato del personal en especial de Idris como anfitrión, el estado del riad es impecable con mucho estilo y una vista panorámica de la ciudad desde la terraza. Muy buena localización si te interesa la medina

Ventajas: Idriss, our host, was exceptional. Very helpful, flexible and accommodating (helped with further plans) - Location in Medina was excellent. - Rooms were both larger than at comparable price points elsewhere, and beautiful. - Great roof terrace. - Generous breakfast.

Desventajas: Nothing of note.

Ventajas: Altamente recomendable. Desde que hicimos la reserva el personal se puso en contacto conmigo ofreciendo servicios que facilitaron con creces nuestra estancia. Fueron muy atentos y serviciales en todo momento y nos ayudaron a continuar nuestro viaje hacia Tánger. Tanto el hotel como la habitación tienen el encanto y la esencia que completa la experiencia de visitar Fez. Un diez en cuanto a estética, limpieza y comodidad. El desayuno, el té y las vistas de la terraza lo completan. Lo echamos de menos.

Desventajas: El hotel es un poco ruidoso, quizás por los huéspedes con los que coincidimos y la acústica del edificio.

Ventajas: It has a historic / traditional feel, good experience to stay in at.

Desventajas: One AC wasn't working in our suite, our friends got room without AC and ended up in our room. Bathroom was somewhat weird. Hotel looks much different from pictures.

Ventajas: Amazing hospitality and a beautiful riad that made our Fes experience amazing. Staff at the hotel were welcoming - willing to make suggestions on restaurants, book tours, and organize transportation. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in Fes - location is convenient and easy to find. Looking forward to returning in the future.

Ventajas: Este es sin duda el mejor Riad en el que nos hemos alojado en Fez (y hemos probado unos cuantos). El Riad es realmente espectacular, una preciosidad decorada con muchísimo gusto y muchos detalles. Las habitaciones son preciosas, cálidas y muy cómodas. Están muy limpias, al igual que el baño y además los geles que te dejan para usar son simplemente geniales. El desayuno, en la terraza es un lujo, sobre todo por el entorno y la decoración. El personal fue muy amable en todo momento, sobre todo Said (muchas gracias por tu amabilidad) . Si volvemos a Fez elegiremos de nuevo este Riad sin lugar a dudas!

Desventajas: Por ponerle una pega, sólo se podía pagar con tarjeta si pagabas en DH, no en Euros y al hacer la conversión el chico intentó hacernos el cambio a 11DH por euro, lo que no se correspondía para nada y se pasaba bastante del cambio real. Dado que el precio del Riad ya es más caro que en otros lugares, no nos pareció muy adecuado que intentara hacer este tipo de conversión.

Ventajas: Wonderful staff. They booked a Médina guide for us and hammam services. Plus they gave us great recommendations. Great breakfasts- different everyday. They helped us with directions to the riad and parking. Both can be very difficult to find in Fes. The riad emailed me directions before we left home and then helped me via what’s app as we arrived in the city. Also, when we were in Fed in was HOT! They adjusted our AC so we were really comfortable when we needed some downtime.

Ventajas: El trato en todo momento fue muy bueno, prestando ayuda en todo lo que pedíamos incluso antes de nuestro viaje. La comida está muy rica, pudiendo decir de la mejor que hemos comido en Fez. El Riad es perfecto para descansar y desconectar de la Medina de Fez. ¡Disfrutamos de un fin de semana muy agradable!

Desventajas: Los precios de la comida y bebidas nos parecen un poco desorbitados. La atención en todo momento fue muy agradable, exceptuando a nuestra marcha cuando se nos pidió una propina por parte del maître. Por toda la ayuda y servicios finalmente dimos, pero nos sentimos un poco forzados.

Ventajas: we stayed 4 nights and loved it! I would highly recommend to stay here! the whole team is so lovely. when I was sick, they helped me and made extra special tea and rice. I felt like being at home. Thank you so much!!

Ventajas: Amazing accommodation, location and staff . Love how the place has a story to tell and reflects the culture and heritage of Morocco and specially Fes. It feels like you are staying at someone’s luxury place and not a hotel. Mohammed will take care of you if you need a guide. Highly recommend you ask for Zakariya El Edrisis. He will take you to a 3 hours amazing tour and reveal to you the secrets of the town and history and meaning behind each symbol and sign . He speaks 4 languages fluently and can take you to all sort of discussions so feel free to ask.

Desventajas: It’s not that I didn’t like but you need to be aware the whole place is not sound proof ... everything can be heard from inside your room. Wireless can be weak and rooms don’t have aTV. if you book the white room like me, keep in mind, it’s right in the middle of the Recieption

Desventajas: The floors, rugs in room were white so the dirt was apparent. They should choose a different color since It is in Medina and can be quite dirty and dusty. otherwise all else was fine.

Ventajas: we loved every thing! the food, the stuff the room every thing was perfect!

Ventajas: The rooms are beautiful and really comfortable. The location is good, close to everything but it’s not in the middle of Médina. I had a beautiful dinner on the terrace, with a perfect service, which I highly recommend. Warm hospitality from everyone!!

Ventajas: This riad is very clean and the staff are very nice and kindly. The toilet is large, the shampoo and show gel are very good quality. And the riad not far away to blue gate in Médina.

Desventajas: In the Room there is not proper table, only a very small side table, so my makeup items nowhere to place.

Ventajas: I love the yard so much!! The room is comfortable and everything is clean and tidy. Deeply in love with the cleaning set it smells really nice, staffs are helpful and friendly. The popular "ins" window room is exactly which we stayed! The roof garden is enjoyable. I'd definitely recommend this riad to all my friends.

Ventajas: Staff came to meet us at the taxi lot so we wouldn’t get lost. We only stayed one night but had to leave early so they made us breakfast to go without hesitation. They also ensured we had a ride in the morning and welcomed us very warmly. A wonderful experience albeit short.

Ventajas: Momoune made us feel right at home The hotel is beautiful as expected for a riad I would stay here again if ever I return to Morocco

Desventajas: Service is a little slow but that’s common for Morocco

Ventajas: The courtyards are beautiful and rooftop has spectacular views; the room is modern and clean with a very good shower; most of the staff are friendly and helpful; decent breakfast; location wise - the riad is at the heart of the medina so we managed to visit all the mey tourist spots by foot, that being said, it is also very far from the main road (ie where cars/taxis can stop by).

Desventajas: The porter arranged by the riad was rude and unfriendly - upon our arrival at the riad, the porter REFUSED to open the door when we did not tip him. When the same porter sent us to the taxi stand on our departure day, we tipped him an adequate amount but he insisted for more. When we refused to tip any extra amount, he slammed our taxi door. Clearly we were not very happy with his actions. We believe that tipping of the staff of the hotel (incl. the porter) should always be DISCRETIONARY AND OF A GRATUITOUS NATURE. Further, the Moroccan guy who has a beard and wears glasses (and appears to be the manager of the riad) is somewhat unfriendly - we also witnessed him requesting a guest to tip the porter another MAD 10 when the said guest had already paid MAD 10. Again, the amount of tip should always be on an entirely discretionary basis and should not be determined by someone from the hotel.

Ventajas: Riad is absolutely beautiful with three differents courtyards and splendid rooftops with medina views Tasty lunch and dinner available at the hotel. Double bedroom is very large space and perfectly tidy everyday. Dont forget it's in the medina but the hotel always help you with a guide to move around at night time or for carrying luggage

Desventajas: Breakfast is buffet, so better come early

Desventajas: El personal no está a la altura. Nos puso en contacto con un guía que no hablaba nuestro idioma correctamente (habiéndolo solicitado con antelación) y que nos hizo un tour por todos los gremios/vendedores de Fez. Pedimos que tuvieran en cuenta que uno de nosotros es celiaco y tampoco hicieron ni caso.

Ventajas: The hotel is located in the middle of the Fes medina, which is a massive sprawl of winding streets. That makes it convenient to reach. The terrace has a spectacular view of the medina, especially in the evening when it's all lit up. A part of the hotel is a gorgeous, well-preserved 17th century home. Even the modern additions have been designed in keeping with the traditional Moroccan aesthetic. A shout-out to Omar, who does everything from billing to waiting tables. He was a terrific host.

Desventajas: It would be nice if the breakfast spread includes more varieties of fruit and dry fruit, both of which are of fantastic quality in Morocco.

Ventajas: The hotel is wonderful

Desventajas: The waiter behaved like a stupid with us, just because I ordered "two teas" and he wanted I said just "tea"

Ventajas: La terraza es preciosa y tiene unas vistas de la Medina increíbles. El personal fue muy atento.

Desventajas: La habitación estaba en la planta baja, número 14, y apenas tenía luz. Por la noche había mucho ruido y me costaba dormir.

Ventajas: I love the whole place it looks, historic, cultural, and miserable. The riad has a very long history while it keeps clean and tidy. If you like photographing, this is a must place for sure! Staffs are helpful and friendly, we arrived late and he picked us up and walked us to the riad. The room is the best one II've ever stayed, We love it!!

Ventajas: The room was nice, modern and comfortable, staff were attentive, location good

Desventajas: Its a little small and conplex to find your way around, but since its authentic, i guess it's supposed to be

Ventajas: El edificio es alucinante, tiene una terraza con vistas de la medina y una zona de piscina con restaurante muy chic y comodísima. La medina en general y donde se encuentra el riad no es muy agradable de noche por lo que nos quedamos a cenar en el riad ya que intentamos salir y no fue nada agradable. Para nuestra fortuna la comida y la atención fue excelente (un poco caro comparado con los precios de un restaurante de afuera).

Ventajas: Las instalaciones, la limpieza y el personal son increíbles. Totalmente recomendado

Desventajas: La relación calidad precio de la habitación en nuestro caso, creemos que no se corresponde, pero con el resto de cualidades y calidades del alojamiento se suple con creces

Ventajas: The riad is sublime! The court yards, the pool and rooms are really beautiful! The staffs are very friendly too!

Desventajas: It locates inside the old town and only accessible by walking and we are not aware of it. So finding the hotel and parking is a bit stressful. Just call the hotel and they will send a local staff to help.

Ventajas: Nice room with a small private terrace.

Desventajas: Check the bathroom towels, ours were clearly dirty. Overpriced.

Desventajas: El desayuno malo y solo el último día nos ofrecieron al final omelette cuando ya habíamos desayunado el pan que dan, además Después de la siete de la tarde cuando se va el gerente con su cellular, no se puede reservar un restaurante, porque la estructura no tiene teléfono fijo, y con ellos no se puede cenar porque tienes que reservar desdea mañana, el servicio NO BUENO

Ventajas: La amabilidad de su personal, Abdu y Tahir excelentes anfitriones.

Desventajas: Location was good, but needs short walk with all luggage.

Ventajas: The staff were amazing and dedicated to ensuring we had everything we needed. Abdul packed us lunches when we had an early start, made sure we were comfortable in our room and when my husband slipped and sprained his ankle, he carried him to a taxi so we could go to the hospital. The riad was beautiful and we had a gorgeous balcony area. It was very clean.

Desventajas: The location of the riad was far from the main mosques etc that me and my husband wanted of travel to.

Ventajas: It was a big room for 2 people.

Desventajas: The room didn t have a fridge.

Ventajas: Nothing than room itself. Room we stayed was fine however there was a weird unpleasant smell inside all the time.

Desventajas: Our experience with this hotel was horrible. It is said in their description that there is a traditional moroccan hammam and treatments in Riad. When we arrived Riad, receptionist said that hammam is broken and will not be fixed for weeks. When we called booking to complain about, suddenly it appeared that they have “hammam” working. Of course they made it up to avoid refund/cancellation. Later, when we wanted to take a hammam treatment, they took us to the dirty room with housekeeping/cleaning facilities inside and we were informed that the housekeeper of the hotel will do our hammam treatments. Ridiculous, not? In a short, this place is fraud! Even though it is called "riad and spa", they dont have proper facilities for spa and they are not transparent/honest about what facilities they have. Addition to that, the man worked in receptionist was very rude and it seemed he hated his job. He was completely unhelpful during our stay and could not accommodate any simple request we had. Breakfast was not fresh either and if you need to leave riad earlier than 8 am, they expect you not kindly ask but beg for early breakfast. Just note that, in any other riad we stayed in Morocco, we were given an early breakfast when we requested it day before.

Ventajas: The staff were excellent. Good reception.

Ventajas: Loved the beautiful patio with fabulous wall deco, furniture and fountain in the middle. Such a calm and relaxing space. The staff was very nice and helpful. The diner was delicious. Eating authentic food at an authentic atmosphere of this old riad is definitely part of Moroccan experiences, worthwhile trying. I fully recommend Riad Zamane.

Desventajas: No issue about this wonderful riad. — In the neighborhood, some youths / children idling at the street were sometimes noisy (including late at night) and annoying. This may be a common issue for many different riads located in the same street. (Though, we are foreign visitors and are allowed to stay in local people’s living space, so it is by no means intended to impose tourists’ comfort standards.)

Ventajas: So very quiet to rest and Abdou went above and beyond with his service

Ventajas: Friendly staff, rooms were clean, perfect location. Manager of Riad was super friendly and helped us a lot with our requests. Definetely recommend it for couples!!!

Ventajas: The staff at Dar Anebar was fantastic: helpful, pleasant and generous. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The location was excellent and quiet. There is also a lovely terrace.

Ventajas: Todo el alojamiento es perfecto! Habitación extraordinaria, servicio fantástico y el personal inmejorable. El desayuno es muy bueno y abundante, típico de Fez! Tiene una azotea donde puedes ver toda la Medina de Fez. Sin duda repetiría! Destacaría el servicio y la atención de Aziz que en todo momento estuvo pendiente de nosotras. Ventajas: My husband and I stayed here during our 5-day trip to Fez and loved it, very calm and relaxing place and the staff is so amazing. They were some of the friendliest people we met during our 2-month journey in Morocco. Breakfast is lovely, and the location makes it very easy to reach the Blue Gate and other attractions via taxi (no getting lost finding your way through the medina, unless of course you want to ;)). Wifi was good for us digital nomads, our room was cleaned regularly, and I can't stress enough how awesome the staff were - we felt like they were family by the time we left. Ventajas: Quiet location with a wonderful view at Medina from the roof. The owner was very responsive and helped to accommodate at hoc requests. The Riad and room were very specious, and beautiful decorated.

Ventajas: The staff are friendly and helpful. The environment is clean and beautiful. I can feel the way of arabian family lives in this house. The breakfast is great, a very satisfied breakfast.

Desventajas: We had 2 people, if our room can have 2 chair for each of us, it would be better.

Ventajas: Atmospheric riad, spacious room, decorated under Morrocan architecture! Colourful tiles, king size bed! Amazing view from the terrace!Helpful staff, especially Aziz! Don't forget to search for Mehir to walk you through the labyrinth of the Medina!

Ventajas: Experiencia muy buena. Personal encantador. Nos cambiaron a la mejor habitación que tenian con dos camas de matrimonio unidas, creo q era la suite. Sin pagar mas por ella. Trato inmejorable y grandes personas. A una calle de la medina. Ubicacion excelente.

Desventajas: Nada malo a destacar.

Ventajas: This Riad (hotel) is located close to the edge but within the old city (Medina) – it requires assistance to access, as taxis and other wheeled vehicles have no direct access. The Riad will arrange to meet your taxi at the closest main gate. It features a beautiful atrium, three stories in height, and onto which all the rooms have a direct outlook. There is also a roof terrace with recreation area and good views of the city. While there is no elevator, the obliging staff are only too willing to carry your suitcases to your room. A traditional breakfast is included in the tariff, and a limited-menu dinner can also be provided at an additional charge if desired. The proprietor, Ahmed, is friendly and obliging. For example, he arranged to purchase a train ticket for me so that I did not need to make a special trip to the train station (online ticket purchases seem to be restricted to those with a Moroccan credit card). The free wi-fi worked well, and the rooms were elegant and charming, with an old-world, Arabic ambience. Ahmed also arranged for an English-speaking Guide for me, as it would be impossible to negotiate the narrow streets, lanes and alleyways of the Medina without a Guide. Fortunately, the Medina in Fez does not permit wheeled vehicles of any kind (except small trolleys), which is a great advantage over the equivalent precinct in Marrakech, where you take your life into your hands as the sometimes fast-moving scooters etc. negotiate their way around obstacles such as pedestrians! Fez uses donkeys and mules to transport heavier loads through the streets and laneways of the Medina (beware the manure).

Desventajas: I did find, however, that the lighting level in my room was a bit too low for functional requirements. My only criticism was that my Guide appeared to be nothing more than a tout for various tourist venues and retail establishments. At every stop, I was passed over to a merchant who started doing a sales pitch. I told the Guide I wasn't really interested in buying tourist souvenirs, but he took no notice (he's probably on a commission).

Ventajas: It’s a perfect stay here ! The whole Riad is beautiful ,with finest decoration !Everything is fine here ! The food is fresh and good !The staff is helpful and nice ! The room is tidy and spacious.When you bathing , you will hear some songs from the birds outside ！

Ventajas: The breakfast was great-- pastries, bread, eggs, sometimes fruit, coffee, and fresh squeezed juice. The room was gorgeous and beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, if a little small compared to our riad in Marrakech of comparable cost. The food at the restaurant for dinner is much better than most riad restaurants. Extremely well flavored and delicate, with elegant presentation and some modern tweaks on traditional Moroccan dishes. Definitely recommend eating here at least once during your stay, if not more! The common areas were really the standout-- the central open air courtyard, the libraries and sitting rooms, and the spa were all beautiful and each decorated a little bit differently-- modern, traditional Berber, eclectic. I wish the fountains and water features had been working, as that would have just added the little extra "oomph" that would have set it over the top. The spa and hammam were our favorite of our entire multi-week stay in Morocco-- and we went to 4 different ones, ranging from local and cheap, to fancy and Western at 5-star hotels. Not only were the facilities beautiful and calm, but both of our attendants (hammam, and then masseuse) gave us the best treatments we experienced in the country! Both were comparable to service we would expect at a high-end American spa. They have laundry service, which is especially valuable when you have been traveling for awhile. The rooftop terrace is amazing, and probably the best part of the property. You have a beautiful view of the sunset, and they will bring you your breakfast or mint tea to sip while you are up there. While we were there, a family of kittens was always playing around. Gorgeous! I wish there were more lounge chairs/shaded pavilions to better take advantage of the view.

Desventajas: There are no hand rails to help you up and down the steep stairs, which was problematic for my older, retired parents. This made it especially difficult for them to take advantage of the terrace. The location is just okay. Certainly walkable to the souqs and major sites, but not in the middle of them. I would advise staying closer to the Blue Gate if you want to to be closer to that. Still, it is relatively near a good plaza where a taxi can drop you off, and then the staff will come meet you and transfer your luggage. It made it quiet, and more residential with more locals.

Ventajas: Even before we arrived we were so pleased with the communication by Otmane and his staff! In all our years of travel there have been only I'd say a handful of places that have provided service like they did and we had not even checked in yet! When we arrived Otmane had sent a staff member to great and take us the Riad which was very helpful! Now the journey truly begins on the outside it is an unassuming Riad but the second you enter the doors you are taken aback by the beauty of the entrance and riad! Otmane was ever so kind to accommodate our requests and help guide us on places to go even though we came late in the day! You are greeted with mint tea and snacks while your bags are recieved by the staff taken to your suite. The suite was a Moroccan/French dream! We fell in love with it immediately and every detail was magnificent. The terrace is the real gem you can see the entire Medina and at sunrise it is beautiful. Otmane and the staff were amazing and we will be staying here during our next visit!! This place is special!

Desventajas: There is nothing we didn't like!

Ventajas: Las instalaciones, estilo, decoración y la habitación Lawaan era increíble. El personal es súper atento, la atención es total,están pendientes de todos los detalles. Desayuno rico y abundante. Tiene pocas habitaciones con lo que es súper tranquilo. Ni un ruido.

Desventajas: Las escaleras para subir a la terraza de la azotea, que tiene vistas espectaculares y donde sirven el desayuno o para tomar algo, es un handicap para gente mayor o con problemas de movilidad.

Ventajas: Very friendly & accommodating staff, beautiful rooms, Riad well located near the souks. Dinner was good

Ventajas: Beautiful building, room, terrace, and library. Wonderful staff and hospitality. We truly loved it and recommend staying here to all.

Desventajas: Location is a little bit hard to reach because it is in Médina but the hotel staff was always kind and helpful to escort us to get the taxi.

Ventajas: Everything was fantastic and exceeded our expectations. The room looked absolutely amazing and was so cozy. The general director went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. They also organised a guided tour for us although we were very last minute.

Ventajas: Place is well decorated and has very good vibes. Rooms offer a lot of intimacy!

Ventajas: The neighbourhood is one of the happiest I’ve experienced in a long time. Service staff are eager to please and location is great, minutes walk from good food and the market.

Desventajas: Our suite was located on the third floor with steep steps, something to consider if you are lazy or travelling with elderly. The shower area could be better designed with a partition to prevent water from splashing into common areas.

Ventajas: Si viajas en vehículo (en mi caso en moto) no encontrarás mejor ubicación: con un parking a 50 metros, este Riad se encuentra dentro de la Medina pero con una localización del todo accesible hasta la misma puerta. Y es impresionante, muy bonito. El personal es encantador, dispuesto a ayudar con todo lo que necesites. A nosotras nos ofrecieron un guía (Farid) para conocer la Medina, y lo aceptamos y no nos arrepentimos: si no dispones de mucho tiempo es casi hasta necesario, ya que es enorme y la parte antigua cierra pronto. El Riad dispone de todo lo necesario, incluyendo aire acondicionado, secador y artículos de aseo. Tiene buen desayuno. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

Desventajas: No puedo poner un solo pero a este fantástico e impresionante Riad: desde el edificio en sí, pasando por la ubicación e incluyendo al personal... es todo de diez.

Ventajas: Very nice and decent Moroccan styled environment

Ventajas: The property was large and spacious, great location. The Médina is a big city made up of over 9,000 alley ways so when arriving it was easy to reach the Raid, which is located within the medina ways but the taxi can drop you off very close with a short walk. The staff were welcoming and were happy to talk to us and suggest where to go as well as making us feel at home.

Desventajas: There was a problem with the hot water Notified staff first morning, but they passed it off as other guests using all the hot water. Had tepid shower in the afternoon. Tried having an earlier shower the next morning, again no hot water. Immediately complained again and asked to be moved and speak to manager. Staff then said there was a leak and would attend to it but would move me to a different property for my last night, which they did with all assistance. Think there was a reluctance of staff to be completely honest with situation

Ventajas: Luxurious spacious room on the ground floor was a great bonus. The staff were friendly and very helpful in making out stay a pleasant experience. They were very helpful in providing information for getting around Fes and booking a guide and transport. Always willing to provide tea,hot water etc at any time and always with a smile.

Ventajas: The riad foyer is very impressive - some sort of Andalusien architecture. It was very pleasant to sit there and surf in the internet in all tranquility. The rooms are good furnished. The staff is very helpfull, open minded and extremely taking care of its guests. The breakfast was good - Natural orange juice/caffe/bread/cheese/sweets/kacke... actually all what I needed to start my day.. Each person is being served personally by the staff. The staff always helped me parking my hired car near the Riad for no fees which is to thank them for that. Parking mostly always will cost you in Morocco as the rest of the world. I have arrived one night earlier and mr. Mohammed the owner of the riad helped me to find a room on a short notice and more he has sent his employee to receive me and then guide me to a second riad he owns. I thank him for that - mr. Mohammed always responded to my messages on Whatsup in a matter of few minutes....

Desventajas: What i‘m writing here is related indirectly to the Riad. It‘s about the tour guide. I have asked the staff to book me one for three hours. He came at the morning. I‘m a person who is interested in history and culture. After one hour he collected a group of french girls in the old city in other riad (to maximize his profit on that day). And so he had to explain in 2 languages. He has taken the liberty and didn't make the effort to explain much a bout the history of Fes: - 30% of the time was spent visiting some historical places - 70% of the time was for shopping - jumping from one store to another. Clearly he has some deal With the shops where he gets provisions on each buy.... It was somehow bizarre for me and the group.... He was a manipulative person. It was not professional and he deserves merely 2 stars out of 5. The money he insisted to have he also didn’t deserve point and a new line.

Desventajas: too expensive for eating and drinking, and the facility of shower is poor.

Ventajas: Although we only stayed 1 night in Fez, we absolutely had a great time. Mohammed, the host was really kind and helpful. We had to leave early for our flight the next morning so we didnt have time to eat our breakfast, so he gave us a breakfast takeaway, which we really appreciated, we were able to eat it at the airport instead of buying. Oh and the room was splendid!!!! Totally recommend this Riad!

Ventajas: From arrival we were made to feel absolutely welcome. Our room was incredible, the location is right by the old Medina (and the staff were so helpful in making sure we didn’t get lost), and the food is delicious (try the Moroccan soup and the beef tagine)! The owner is absolutely lovely and allowed us to swim at one of his other riads, the rooftop terrace is super cute and I cannot stress enough how wonderful the staff are. We will be returning on our next trip to Morocco!

Desventajas: Don’t get hustled by the locals on your way to the Medina, it is easy to find yourself and they will try to take money off you.

Desventajas: Al ir a ducharme habia una cucaracha dentro de la ducha y el wc perdia agua por lo que habia que abrir y cerrar la llave cada vez que lo utilizabas. El baño bastante mejorable.

Ventajas: It was our fist time in morocco and and arrived late at night and we were still greeted by hassan and salah which are the 2 persons that run the hotel. They are very helpful, humble and caring persons and always smiling and ready to help you in all your needs. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was to die for. Top notch service!!!!

Ventajas: Such a cute riad, very close to the media. The view from the balcony is beautiful. And the most of all, the staff are so friendly and helpful.

Ventajas: The stuff was really nice and kind and the room was really big , clean and beautiful.

Desventajas: The braekfast was not good at all, the food wasnt fresh and really dry, but Hasen bought for us a new bread and in the end we had what to eat, but i think you sould make the food at the morning and not just to warm up in a microwave. The secand thing is that the tap in the shower was broken and also in the toilet and it was really hard to use it.

Ventajas: Location was good. Close to Médina and quite. There was terrace which is nice.

Desventajas: I guess it’s common to all Riads I stayed: didn’t like the smell of place. There is always strong aromatic smell that is masking another smell. Also I didn’t enjoy the toilet room that is in a basement floor. Which means you don’t have any door to toilet and bath. It’s just a big hole on the floor.

Ventajas: The place is stunning, right out of a storybook tale. A "thousand-nights" ambience. The staff will go out of their way to help you: Sultan, Salah, Hassan, Emane. Especially Hamza, who is the guide and driver for the sightseeing, was extremely helpful end supporting during a walk around the inner part of the old medina. I owe this guy a lot, because he acted like a real brother in a complicated situation there. Thank you for everything, brother!

Ventajas: Despite there being an issue with our original booking - the staff were quick to resolve and upgraded us into a suite in another affiliated hotel. Staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.

Desventajas: Laundry was expensive to get done (although did come back very promptly!) The room was lovely but could do with updating/refreshing (new air con, new towels)

Ventajas: Everything! This riad is absolutely amazing, the food was great, and the staff was extraordinary.

Ventajas: Our stay at the Palais d'Hôtes was extremely pleasant. The hotel was magnificent and the suites and facilities were exceptional. The hotel staff, especially Rachid, were extremely accommodating and met our every request. I would highly recommended the in-house hammam.

Ventajas: The grand junior room which we were upgraded to for free was superb. Breakfast on the terrace was second to none the views were spectacular over the Médina. So much more for your money then Marrakesh. Would recommend this Riad.

Ventajas: El hotel es bonito, cómodo, cerca de diversos puntos de interés y con un gran equipo. Las personas que nos atendieron fueron muy amables y se preocuparon por todo lo que necesitamos. Poder elegir hora, lugar y qué desayunar fue una grata sorpresa. Si vas a usar el parking, pregunta antes en el hotel por él para confirmar cuál es (da servicio o varios hoteles de la zona y por su imagen parece no ser del hotel).

Desventajas: It is a bit out of the action and taxi is needed to get around. I forgot 2 night dress and called the hotel but was told that no one found them... My cousin and I had to doble check everytime we changed money as some change was always missing. Bad smell from the bathroom. Food ok but quite regular

One thing we felt not good was we called the reception if there were any scissors that could be lent to us, the reception replied no, but you can go out and buy them by yourself. For us who stayed in Fez for the first night, we didn’t know where to buy and it was 10PM at that time, we also didn’t think it was safe for two girls to out. When I double checked with reception, there was no any other way? We only got “Em….mmmmmm” from he.

Desventajas: Pool was very cold. Difficult to find off the alley. We didn’t like the Medina at all. Parking is a huge hassle and the parking lot swindlers almost ruined our arrival. Horrible to drive into.

Ventajas: This hotel completely exceeded my expectations. It was even better than the photos. I had some of the best food here for my entire time spent in morocco. The hotel staff were so attentive and so friendly, I absolutely love this place and would recommend anyone visiting Fez to stay here. one of the two nights spent here was very entertaining. Whilst my friend and I were enjoying dinner near the pool, people were playing traditional music, doing henna, and a tour group were also enjoying a cooking class run by the hotel. very happy with the experience

Desventajas: La habitación que había reservado no tenia bañera de hidromasaje como en las fotos. Tenía una ducha y con el desagüe atascado !!. Se inundaba todo el baño. Todos los días había cucarachas y hormigas en la habitación. De todo el staff incluidos los propietarios, solo Zacarías habla un poco de español. Quien solo hable español le será un poco complicado

Ventajas: El personal amabilisimo, siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Camas cómodas, muy buena limpieza y ambiente precioso, incluso con un músico tocando al lado de la piscina una noche!

Ventajas: Breakfast was excellent and the location was ideal for visiting the Medina. The staff tried very hard and were very friendly.

Desventajas: There was building work going on within the Riad which mean't that we were unable to use the roof terrace. This wasn't explained to us prior to our booking

Ventajas: The beauty of this property is UNBELIEVABLE. We had the most. amazing time and felt like we were treated like kings and queens. Chirifi was our personal staff member who stayed with us morning and night during our stay. He served us, answered all of our questions, took care of us, and genuinely looked after us and our best interest. He and the entire staff exceeded all expectation and went above and beyond to serve us! Wish we stayed longer! Such a gem of a find.

Ventajas: The best riad I have ever visited in Morocco. The staff are nice and the honor was very hospitable person. If I come back to Fes it is the place to stay. If you wanna see a true riad with authentic Moroccan style, it is the place to be. Convenient location, walking distance to Bab bu jlude, quite and romantic courtyards.

Ventajas: He ido con mi madre, pero repetiría sin dudarlo con mi novio porque el entorno no puede ser más romántico. El riad es una maravilla, y el personal muy atento y te hacen sentir como en casa. Se preocupan de que todo esté a tu gusto. Es que hasta me dio pena despedirme! El desayuno y la comida en general muy buena. Salma es toda una anfitriona y nos organizó muy bien las excursiones que hicimos para visitar la Medina y Chefchaouene. Es imprescindible ver la Medina con un guía para no perderse, y Mohamed habla español muy bien. Jamal nos llevó a Chefchaouene, que está bastante lejos (se tarda menos desde Tánger) pero yo me empeñé en ir y no me arrepiento aunque hemos estado 3 noches y me ha faltado una para ver Meknes. Los dos unos magníficos guías! He guardado sus contactos para cuando vuelva. Me quedé con las ganas de probar el spa... pero la piscina es una maravilla. Nos imprimieron las tarjetas de embarque porque a la vuelta hay que llevarla en papel, muy majos. El wifi va bastante bien. Yo volvería seguro, porque me gusta estar en la Medina y en sitios más típicos, pero le falta un poquito para ser un 5*, detalles.

Desventajas: Como en todas partes (en algunas más que en otras), hay cosas que mejorar. Me hubiera gustado que me hubieran avisado de que iba en época de Ramadán, porque si no caes, y te gusta cenar con un vinito, pues no puedes, ya que ellos no pueden servir alcohol durante el mes que dura. La alternativa es que te lo lleves desde el aeropuerto y que te lo sirvas tú y la habitación tiene nevera (que podría enfriar más, pero el problema de la temperatura en la bebida es algo generalizado en Fez). Tienen que estar más atentos al correo antes de que llegues, pedí que nos vinieran a buscar, confirmé, y se ve que no lo vieron, y bueno, cogimos un taxi que no hubiera pasado la itv pero ya desde los 80. Tendrían que haber escrito para confirmar, ya que había mostrado interés por ese servicio. Alguna cucaracha (llamad a recepción para que manden a alguien cuando veáis alguna si sois tan histéricas como yo con esos bichos). El desayuno podría variar un poco... solo cambian el tipo de “tortitas” que te ponen, aunque está muy bueno. El plato de pepino no lo entiendo, pero puede que sea solo yo. Yo haría dos menús muy distintos y los alternaría. El armario es muy pequeño y lo usan para guardar los edredones... es mejor que lo dejen vacío para poder colgar la ropa y que si necesitas un edredón lo pidas a recepción, aunque lo normal es que en invierno lo pongan al hacer la cama y en verano yo lo veo del todo innecesario. La piscina podría estar un poco más limpia... igual es complicado mantenerla porque al haber tanta flor hay mucha abeja que acaba en el agua. Pero como nunca hay mucha gente dentro (creo que solo he visto a otras dos personas bañarse...) pueden estar atentos a cuándo bajas en bañador y limpiarla un poco. Esas cosas en un 5* se anticipan, pero bueno son detallitos y yo estoy muy mal acostumbrada. (Ah! Y cuando reguéis las plantas mirad que no haya nadie abajo desayunando jaja)

Ventajas: Breakfast was a Moroccan feast and we were waited on like royalty! Showers had great pressure and could be as hot as you liked. Rooms were richly decorated and the beds comfortable.

Desventajas: Spotty WiFi service, even in our rooms directly above reception.

Ventajas: The bed was very comfortable and the room was large. Breakfast was very nice.

Desventajas: They needed one or two luggage racks and there was the perfect space for them. The bathroom was very small and the door stuck badly and there was some kind of water leak on the floor.

Ventajas: In a the old medina, a city part that looks really poor, with walls looking like ruins, a wonderfull orientally decoretd hotel reveals entering through the gate of Riad Salam Fes. It is like the secret garden from 1001 nights. It actually has 3 inner courts ending with the one that has a small pool. Hotel staff is most kind.

Desventajas: Food was quite a dissapointment. Drain needs to be fixed.

Ventajas: Public areas super with all the mosaic tiles. Pool looked great too

Desventajas: More light in rooms, unable to read as sooo dark. Bathroom could do with a good clean Breakfast could have been better

Ventajas: The building is impressive. The actual location is good as it's not near all the hustle and bustle of the medina and gives you the chance to get a break.

Desventajas: The staff were not very attentive to customers, including delays to answer questions, being frustrated when the reception phone rung and being slow to address wifi issues across the hotel.
