Loved the view of Alcatraz, the GGBridge to the west, parklike setting all around, marinas within an easy walk, on site cafe (separate from hostel kitchen & breakfast), very nice staff. Bathrooms & showers could use an update.
Location and quiet Mattresses are terrible, rooms are tight, bathrooms are so-so.
La cocina en la planta baja
Buena ubicación y precio.
Very clean, easy checkin, good wifi Had to leave the window open because the room was a bit stuffy, whcihbmeant it was really noisy. Sharing a toilet was fine, dunno about the shower room -but we didn't need that anyway.
Not much was considered likeable. The location was decent since an entrance into China town was right across the street. There were several things I didn't like. I originally booked the hotel for six nights but switched hotels after the first night. I didn't like how my room did not have a toilet, shower, or air conditioning. I took a shower and the water temperature was extremely hot even after trying to turn it down - my skin was red afterwards from the hot water and then since my room didn't have AC I was sweating a lot. Upon checking out early the front desk attendant refused to give me a receipt.
Value, staff The neighborhood, no way to adjust the temp in the room
To start the homeless sleep outside the so called "hotel". Pretty sure I witness a drug deal while walking to the hotel. Also the hotel didn't seem like one. It was more like a big house and the renters might leave there with smaller children. No parking included!!
