Me alojé en este hotel porque tenía una boda y todo me quedó muy cerca. No había desayuno continental
Gran ubicación. Buena selección de comida/opciones de bebidas. Esta propiedad está vieja y necesita una gran renovación. Las alfombras están viejas y desgastadas. Los baños no tienen extractores de aire.
Needs updates...pool area and bathrooms...the a/c in the front room of the suite didn't work
An easy 5 minute drive to the airport, this hotel was also within easy walking distance to shopping, restaurants, movie theatre, and family fun. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. Large pool, spa, and breakfast area were also appreciated. Best price in town.
Also, they lied about having pillow top mattresses, very uncomfortable bed. And breakfast was awful, only protein were hard boiled eggs, no breakfast meats.
Clean, friendly and efficient ck in
Room was spacious, breakfast choices were very good, staff was very friendly, we were allowed to check in early to all 4 of our rooms
For the price paid the we were more than pleasantly surprised with the staff, the cleanliness of the room as well as the breakfast area. The fact they have a bar is extraordinary for a hotel in this price range. The staff was courteous and very helpful. And the location sure aided in our Christmas shopping. My wife and I would definitely stay at the Grandstay again with no hesitation.
The room was 61 degrees when we checked in at 1030pm. That is too too cold for this time of year. It took roughly 2 hours for the room to warm up to a decent temperature.
Location was perfect for attending the concert at lions park. Near by World of Beer was welcome surprise at walking distance for after show food/drinks. Pool is small and was crowed so didnt bother using. Lobby bar didnt open till after 4pm.
The decor of the suite was really cool, the bed and bedding was comfy, the layout of the suite was great. It felt more luxurious than the price would have suggested. The swimming pool was tiny. When there were a few big kids there, they completely overwhelmed the whole room.
We like the convenient location & generous sized suite.Very quiet ,comfy,&clean
Breakfast was a little expensive for what they had $40 for the four of us 2 young children. I wouldn't have the buffet again.
The comforter was a bit too heavy and warm. It was not possible to make it lighter or less warm.
the room looked very luxurious and comfortable. You can walk to the mall, it was not that far away from the hotel. It was definitely a 5-star experience
I was very satisfied with the price and quality of the Comfort Suites. It was right off the highway for ease of finding the hotel. The bed and pillows were great. Small room but met our needs.
The hotel has not been updated in over a decade and it is showing it's age. The bathroom had water damage on the ceiling in the shower and the wall paper was coming apart. The sink was chipped and yellow. All the furniture is worn out including the sofa with the torn cover. No flat screen tv and the reception on the old one had lines going through it. The beds were sunk in the middle and uncomfortable. The door to the room would not lock again until we reinserted the card. The games in the pool area are very old and several were broken. Overall the money saved was not worth the experience.
Comfort Suites gave us a very nice, clean room. The good breakfast was a bonus and added value to the room. We did find it odd that there weren't grab bars in the shower of a handicap accessible bathroom. There was only one bar to help enter the shower.
We have been there three times and will return for many more. Thank You so Much.
The beds are comfortable, the location is convenient and the breakfasts are good
We have stayed at the comfort suites before and we always go back. Staff if helpful, room is clean, breakfast is wonderful. We will continue to stay at the Comfort Suites in Appleton next time we head to a Packers game.
after standing my ground i got the non-smoking room that was promised,There was no maid service. we had no new towels, no toilet paper, garbage cans were full, beds unmade. The manager did bring us what we needed and emptied the garbage. Breakfast hours could be better. we had to be at the pool at 7 am breakfast didn't start until 7 am. I came back for breakfast on sunday and it was closed at 10, but then went thru the lobby and found out that they extended it. totally unfair. The wireless internet was bad, it keep booting you off if you could even get on it.
My twin sister, her husband, my husband and I rode our Harley's from Chicago to Appleton for a family reunion. It looked beautiful from the outside as well as the inside. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was awesome. I will only stay in Comfort Inn Suites from now on.
Our room was clean, large and comfortable. The continental breakfast was better than most hotels with same service including ''real'' waffles. We would recommend this hotel to our friends.
The lobby looked wonderful and that is where it stopped. We spent the first 15 minutes of our stay wiping off mildew from the air conditioner. The couch was very worn and the piping had missing material. The fitted bed sheet had holes. Breakfast was mediocre at best.
My trip with 2 other friends to Appleton for some shopping and fun was made better due to our stay here. The staff was helpful and check-in was a breeze. We had a poolside room, which was great, no walking thru hallways to the pool and Jacuzzi. The complimentary happy hour was super, many choices, not just beer and wine. My only negative was the bed situation. We had 2 regular beds and 1 pull out sofa sleeper. The sofa sleeper was awful, and the regular beds not much better. If I could put the Wingate beds in the Comfort Suites, it would have been perfect. The morning breakfast area helped us to forget our poor nights sleep. The food was plentiful and good. We would stay here again, but hopefully with better beds.
The suite was just a large room, nothing special. We thought it strange that the TV (one) was not located in proximity to the sofa. I'm sure this is a great place to stay for families with small children as the pool area was rather nice. However, for the older kids, the hotel was not so great.
Fresh omelets available for breakfast. Fresh fruit available. Breakfast included in rate. Location off Hwy 41 was convenient. Our room was musty, old, and bathroom in great need of repair. There was a dead spider on the bath floor and kleenex box falling out of the wall, as well as peeling wallpaper. The bed was not as firm as we are used to.
Kids loved the pool area. Although I was hoping the hotel would open the breakfast early due to the race many of us were participating in- the staff made us cold breakfast bag that was more than accommodating! Thanks for your help! When my friend arrived to check in- she had to wait 10 minutes before anyone came to the front desk to help her! Also- price went up $10 from when I checked at noon til when I booked after work.
Continental breakfast ok No need to return.
Indoor pool without the chlorine smell! Noisy
The room was beautiful and I liked that it was a suite with separate bedroom. Though we didn't use it the small kitchen is a plus. There is nothing I didn't like.
The friendly and helpful staff along with the convenient location. No.
We stayed here while in town for a wedding. The hotel was clean, comfortable and a great value. We would definitely stay here again!
Very convenient location and wonderful pizza place right behind!! Room was not very clean...bathroom sink didn't work leaked all over floor...
Good value with nice breakfast options Strange smell in hallway outside our room
We as attended a reception in town. HoJo's location was only 10 minutes away so we chose this hotel for that reason plus the low cost. Best part of the stay was the Glass Nickle pizza establishment next door. Very fast, hot, tasty pizza. Hotel is in the process of remodeling. Had to take a long way around to get to the room. Hallway was stifling hot but the AC was fine in the room. There was blood on the sheets which we didn't notice until morning. The handle came off of the tub control. Bathroom mirror was hazy. There was a notice in the breakfast area that there would be a $10 charge to take food back to the room.
Free internet, great helpful staff, breakfast was good. The Glass Nickel Pizza next door was great too! The room smelled a little like smoke but besides that everything was clean and well kept.
Friendly service, breakfast, microwave, fridge and the price.
The first thing I noticed when I walked into our room was the wall mirror had hand prints all over it so I could tell it hadn't been cleaned. Then when we sat on the beds, my daughter noticed a Dorito on the floor so it made us question whether the room had even been vacuumed. We also found the hallways dirty and the breakfast area dirty. When my daughter took a cream cheese for her bagel, it was green!
I'm really upset that I couldn't get my money back after I had to call and cancel last minute due to a death in the family. Very rude. Never again.
Very very dirty!!!
The price was right for a single-night stay and it was close enough to the meeting I attended the following day. The management had some problems with the date of my reservation, thinking that I would be in the hotel the following day. They had made a phone call previously to my home about the reservation. I thought that all information was clear. The hotel appeared a bit rundown and needs some renovation.
Good location near shopping mall and other amenities such as restaurants, gas stations and other handy businesses for the motor traveler.
Maintenence and confort are very poor.
The location and cost were very good for us. The staff was friendly. The room was comfortable. They are renovating some areas. If they refreshed the rooms a little, it would be a very nice place to stay. The rooms are outdated - older carpeting, etc - they could use some refreshing. Although complimentary, the breakfast was not up to par with other hotels that offer complimentary breakfast.
