I liked the look of the room. By far the best looking Super 8 I've stayed in. Everything in the rooms were new looking and of good quality. Room came with a mini fridge and microwave which was convenient. Included breakfast was nice even if it was very basic. I had low expectations for a Super 8 and this location exceeded those expectations which was a pleasant surprise. The pillows themselves (not the cases) were a bit stained, which was a little gross. A couple items in the room weren't cleaned well (the soap dish for example) The water pressure in the shower was mediocre and the towels were pretty low quality/rough. Breakfast was very basic. Bread, pre-packaged pastries, cereals, and Waffles. We got breakfast near the end and most of the things were running out or low. The staff came and refilled it eventually, but honestly if they had been keeping an eye on it then it wouldn't have been so bad.
Bad breakfast, curtains were softer than the comforter.
Proprietor Harry was extremely responsive when we complained about room and switched us immediately.
We booked a 1-King-bed room. Our 5yr old grandson ended up coming with us, so we called & asked if we could switch rooms. The very pleasant woman said, "Oh, you don't need to - there's a hide-a-bed in the room." When we arrived after 9pm, tired after driving all day, the man at the front desk said they don't even have hide-a-beds anymore. We were forced to pay $10 more for the last 2-queen room. Irritating.
