The hotel is connected to a major shopping center with restaurants and bars as well. The hotspot for nightlife is also minutes away
design and room layout over priced with limited food selection, They got fancy with "menu" by using iPads, I care less for that attribute, I care more about quality of the food which isn't up to par. Take taxi to Granada for real good food. Front desk folks need to learn how to take directions. or need to be able to speak and understand English given that the hotel is considered upper class. -uncomfortable mattress -room lighting is bad (flickers) -mini bar way overly priced, small mini spring water bottle costs $5 us dollars lol just saying -view sucks -woke up to construction noise every morning (on going construction nearby "jack-hammering" of rocky mountain for new housing development project)
They have vegan/vegetarian options in the buffet and in the menu. No Only healthy vegan food, but also tasty and very well prepared. The buffet for breakfast is excellent and for lunch very good as well. I will recommend the hotel for all my vegan friends and coworkers, to stay in this hotel in the future.
The location of the hotel is excellent. Within walking distance to all important locations, like the Iglesia de La Merced; Iglesia de La Ermita; best restaurant in Cali; great nightclubs
The neighborhood, the staff, food, the services. In general is an incredible hotel, for business, family or friends plans. A small pool and the lack of a place to have a couple of drinks and met people
The pool, the delicious breakfast prepared & served with a big smile by the cook, the recepcion employees very helpful. The shower was not to. Clean, had to change rooms couple of times, because the room did not have a safe and the traffic noise. VERY NEGATIVE:The gratuities/tip was automatically included you can feel the agresive behaviour and mediocre service, because an additional tip was not provide, for te record I gave an additional tip to ghe woman that was preparing the omelletes, simply because they were so delicious, her smile was so contagious and her behaviour so positive.
Great housekeeping and front desk staff. Very good breakfast, awesome pool, especially for kids. We unfortunately had to make use of the hotel doctor, who was quite prompt, professional and helpful. Several of the front desk staff speak very good English and eager to help. Overall a very good hotel. It was excellent for our 5 night stay for a wedding we attended at the Club Campestre golf and country club nearby. Evening room service was very disappointing. Apart from breakfast, the restaurant was as well. There are very good restaurants very close by. I would recommend D'Toluca for Tex Mex and the Brazillian steak restaurant in the nearby mall.
clean, modern, good location, staff was friendly and apologetic I paid for suite with queen bed and sofa however our room had a full bed with no sofa. Curtains were translucent allowing the early morning (6:15AM) sunlight in both large windows.
Nothing That was the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel in my entire life. It was shady. Nobody spoke English which is fine but the service was terrible and so when I complained in my broken Spanish nobody seemed to care. I went to Cali to work. Not for vacation. And the WIFI did not work for the entire first day and entire first night. They did not get the WIFI working until 9am the next day, which gave me two angry clients and an angry girlfriend because I had no way to call them without WIFI. This cost me lots of heart ache and stress and money. Their was no air condition through the entire hotel which is a nightmare in Cali's 95 degree weather. But the worst part was the first day there was not hot water or water pressure. So I had to take a freezing cold shower. Even a swimming pool in Cali under the sun would have been warmer. I don't know about you but I hate cold showers. The next day. There was no running water at all. So I had to go meet my clients smelling like body odor. It was disgusting to see my clients with a layer of sweat on my body because my hotel did not even gave running water. Isn't that insane??? No WIFI, you promised WIFI. No 4 star service. No running water. No hot water. No air conditioning. The pictures on booking.com were a lie. I demand my money back right now. This is the worst experience I've ever had. And it's booking.com's fault for false advertising. Four start hotel??? Are you serious. This was a nightmare. I can't believe you tricked me.
