Hôtel Edmond W

Nicely renovated rooms - very small and simple though! But the room price gave no reason. Far too expensive for a 3 star hotel - the price reflects normally 5 star hotels in London, Paris etc... Breakfast - No value for money - only few choices and very small restaurant, more crowded cafe style. Skip the hotel breakfast and walk for 2 minutes to cafes on the same street.

Overall, our experience was pleasant! I loved the vibe of this place and all "flaws" that I mentioned do not cancel my overall feeling about the trip. There was a coffee/tea machine in the room, very stylish interior and the nicest service. Beds were comfortable, on the softer side. Hotel is close to Massena metro station (3 min walk at best) and located in very calm area, not noisy at all. 5 min distance from Park (with the zoo and botanical garden, free to walk around). There is a elevator, however, during our stay it was out of service. Breakfast was very simple yet delicious.

Unfortunately, no space to unpack your clothes, besides 3-4 hangers. There was a very intensive and "perfumey" scent after cleaning - sadly we both could not stand it, gladly we could open a window. Even without air condition air was very drying and harsh on your throat. There is no fridge in the room. Moreover, I do not recommend it for travelling with coworkers - door to the bathroom is made out of very thin glass which can make your stay a little awkward. In my opinion the room was too small for people that aren't couple or at least close friends.
