Hotel is interesting, location is quite exotic for Turku, good place for a quiet adventure or for romance.
only available hotel in town distanst, beds were not comfortable
Location near port. Nice clean room. Good value Not possible to open windows.
Comfort and location is perfect! Too much expensive
Excellent location just across the street from Viking terminal with frequent bus connection to central Turku. Children's playroom and 'sweet' personnel.
It is a comfortable place to live. Though it is somewhat far from the city centre, the transport is convenient. The hotel is near the habour and there is a castle within walking distance. No
Breakfast was great. I believe airport shuttle has to be arranged in advance, because it was definitely not forthcoming at the airport. The website advertised a 24 hour desk, yet the door was locked at 11p.m. I was let in by another guest, and had to search out the desk clerk who was cleaning a sauna. Advertised free wireless, but television and internet both cost 20 euros.
Very large rooms, and very quiet too. Free 24/24 cable internet. Friendly staff. Free outside car park just in front of the hotel. Not far away from city centre. I walked and it took me 30 min. Breakfast is basic but ok.
sauna The room ventilation was out of order, and it was impossible to open the window in our room on the ground floor.
We had an amazing experience at Best Western Hotel Seaport. The staff was incredibly accommodating to our needs as foreigners taking our first steps in Finland. Thank you to Jani the bartender in particular who went beyond anything we'd ever expect by giving us information and advice on where to go and what to see in Turku - and then following up each day with us on our adventures. Truly personal. Made us feel at home. In fact, we did not want to leave. The location was so peaceful out by the ship port and wonderful Turku castle. We felt safe, comfortable, and happy at this hotel.
