Ventajas: We literally did not feel like leaving the hotel because it was so relaxing. Despite the hotel being quite full it never felt overcrowded. We really enjoyed the facilities. The bonus is the private access to the beach.

Ventajas: The bed was comfy and breakfast was fantastic. Location is great and parking meters were available in the area. Gym is nice and views of the sea was amazing. Spa facilities was a bonus!
Desventajas: Downside, nothing really but room should be equipped with a kettle and tea/coffee facility, but had none. Unusual for a 4-star.

Ventajas: It was a very pleasant stay at the Cosmopolita Hotel. I believe our choice was the best at Platja D'Aro. The location and the atmosphere of the hotel are great and it fits for couples that search for a romantic time or for some fun as well as for families. Our reception was very good and Vera, that spoke Portughese, granted us with an upgrade. Our room, with ocean view and a balcony, was clean, spacious and cosi. There was, also, a very welcome welcome cava. The staff is very helpful, specially Jana, that always had a smile to help us.

Desventajas: El precio. Lo encontramos excesivo para el apartamento si bien esta correcto y limpio era pequeña la habitación para un matrimonio con su bebé (estábamos muy justos). Creo que el precio del parking debería ir incluido en el precioy las bebidas del bar no tan caras.

Desventajas: Todo esta estupendo, aunque algunos huespedes no estan a la altura del establecimiento, por falta de educación y modales.

Ventajas: Lo mejor es el edificio y las instalaciones.
Desventajas: Todo lo demás. El personal, especialmente bajo el mando de la subgobernanta, orgullosa e irónica, es lo peor que me he podido encontrar a lo largo de mi vida y he viajado alrededor del mundo. Servicio de habitaciones incompetente. Camareros no profesionales ni en el servicio de habitaciones ni en los restaurantes. Limpieza en los vestuarios/servicios de la piscina por debajo de 0. Parecían los de una taberna del puerto. Y cuando te quejas, educadamente, se dedican ha hacerte la vida imposible hasta que te marchas anticipadamente. Una experiencia olvidable. Lastima porque la historia de este hotel era otra muy distinta. Una vez en casa, repasando la factura tuve que reclamar 1506 Euros por facturación indebida. Eso si, hay que decirlo, el Jefe de Recepción, único servicio de 5* GL, atendió la reclamación de inmediato, y nos reembolso en 24 hrs.

Desventajas: The hotel was not what I expected. I’d say it’s more like a two star. Not much luxury. Very crowded. A bit run down and no service. The area was not pretty either, but the beach seemed okay. Say further north if you can. We left early even though we already paid. We found a much better location and place.

Ventajas: Fantastic location, 100m from the beach and 200m from the city center but in a very quiet neighborhood. Very friendly staff, always smiling and willing to help you. I felt very comfortable about my car that was parked in the protected and covered parking and about my bikes in the locked bike room. Breakfast was very varied, extensive and healthy. Local restaurant is recommended. We look forward to come back !

Ventajas: El personal excelente, tanto como las instalaciones. El domingo montamos la tabla de paddle surf para ver el amanecer desde el agua y al regresar una de las chicas de recepción nos comentó que nos habían hecho unas fotos desde el hotel ya que les había gustado la idea y nos pidieron permiso para poder publicar alguna! Nos las enviaron todas y fue un regalazo. Fotos súper bonitas. Un gran detalle por su parte. ¡¡¡VOLVEREMOS!!!

Ventajas: Staff were amazing and so friendly. Everywhere was sparkling clean. Breakfast was really nice with hot and cold options (and free wine). Pool was small but not overcrowded. Beach was seconds away, main shopping street a couple of minutes walk so overall location was amazing.
Desventajas: Rooms were very noisy due to tiled floors and water thin walls. No English tv channels other than CBN news.

Requested a car parking space which was about 3 mins walk away. Breakfast was also good, all basics, tea, coffee, juices, pastries, cold cuts and fruits were available. We also loved the design of the hotel.
Desventajas: Maybe a small fridge in the room would be a good addition.

Ventajas: Common areas such as the lobby, restaurant and outdoor area were extra stylish and seemed to have been renovated recently. Staff was quite helpful and polite, they did everything to satisfy our needs. Breakfast was delicious.

Ventajas: Location is great, 50 m from beach and very close to the main road with restaurants. This makes it a great choice. I would recommend more for couples. This is more a kind of boutiqe hotel to relax than party. Which is very good. Close to everywhere and quite at the same time.
Desventajas: This is old hotel, so rooms are small and you can hear people behind the walls. So if you get family with small kids next room can be a bit noisy. Good that hotel does not organise parties. We were there in high season so it was a bit pricy, but the stay was great. Pool is small, but mainly we stayed at the beach. Next time I would choose Platja D'Aro but probably would look for another hotel. I prefer to have a free space and can walk to the beach rather than be in the center. But don't get me wrong, we had a great time and owners look after you well.

Ventajas: We visted Monterrey in mid September. Hotel is located on the end of Platja d'Aro beach near S'Agaro. It was quiet(!!!!), couple steps to the beach (100m!? BTW the beach is not sandy its sandish ;) / rocky). We didn't have problem to park but I think it might be different during high season. There is at least one Supermercado just across the street in the courtyard, there's SPAR on the promenade, there's Lidl and Aldi just 10 minutes walk. We appreciated the food. Breakfasts were a little bit boring, but the dinners were great! (Thanks Chef!). Room was quiet, cleaned everyday, towels changed daily. The shower is superb. Beds where ok for us (we like hard ones). The stuff is friendly and helpful. Miss "Determination" rules ;). The pool was clean, however the water was cold during our stay.
Desventajas: There are queues to restaurant for breakfast and dinner sometimes, restaurant should be bigger! But it goes quickly at least in September and you can always choose to change your timing AC in the restaurant cries for cleaning.

Ventajas: Very good location - quiet street with almost no traffic, beach is close. I took the uppermost floor with pool view - it was nice, pines, roofs and a romantic sunset. The curtains were totally darkening the room - a perfect solution. Conditioner was quite quiet, it was very good, not blowing on the bed. Seafood every day, plenty of the fruits, entertainment program.
Desventajas: Food is not salty, but a lot of different types Cleaners tried to clean in spite of the mark do not disturb Small elevators, but always on the ground floor, so you had not to wait for them.. strange! Small dining room

Ventajas: It was a very pleasant stay at the Cosmopolita Hotel. I believe our choice was the best at Platja D'Aro. The location and the atmosphere of the hotel are great and it fits for couples that search for a romantic time or for some fun as well as for families. Our reception was very good and Vera, that spoke Portughese, granted us with an upgrade. Our room, with ocean view and a balcony, was clean, spacious and cosi. There was, also, a very welcome welcome cava. The staff is very helpful, specially Jana, that always had a smile to help us.

Ventajas: La atención del personal fue absolutamente magnífica. La habitación preciosa y cómoda, y muy limpia, con terracita a la calle, pero sin ruidos molestos. La ducha y la bañera-jacuzzi en la habitación muy bien también. En general el hotel es precioso, muy bien cuidado y con vidilla. La situación es fantástica, muy cerca del mar y al ladito de la calle más comercial de Platja d'Aro. En definitiva, mi pareja y yo hemos tenido una estancia muy agradable.
Desventajas: En el spa había bastante gente. Sé que es difícil de controlar, solo aviso a la gente que vaya de que más que probablemente compartirán el spa con varias personas. El desayuno me pareció normalillo, siento que había poco espacio en general, la leche caliente de la máquina no sabía muy bien y en general la sensación fue de que no estaba al nivel del resto del hotel.

Ventajas: La verdad es que el hotel nos encantó. Su situación es perfecta. La habitación super cómoda y tranquila. Todo estaba muy limpio y el bufet del desayuno espectacular con el detalle de una persona cortando jamón y poder tomarte una copa de cava. El spa relajante. En fin, volveríamos sin dudar.
Desventajas: Quizás tendrían que indicar que los masajes se han de reservar con antelación pues cuando llegamos sólo quedaba una hora libre y por tanto sólo pudo acceder uno de nosotros. Tal vez deberían poner un enlace para reservar.

Desventajas: more cupboard space for clothes perhaps the balcony chairs were a bit strange and uncomfortable but these are very minor points

Ventajas: Although we didn't have sea facing view, our room was very spacious, light and clean on the top floor with a dual aspect balcony. Check in was easy and staff friendly and multilingual. The whole hotel was clean and light with an excellent bar and buffet restaurant onsight, looking over the seafront. We ate outside at the tables, with our dog (who was welcomed without issue or fuss). We had an incredible thunderstorm all night and the power was cut off. In the morning the town was flooded. Staff were helpful and not overly flustered, so all was ok.
Desventajas: Nothing not to like.

Desventajas: It would be nice to have: more towels in the room, and rails on the balcony to dry the clothes. Air conditioner didn’t work one day, and elevator was not functioning one day too.

Desventajas: La calefacción estaba muy alta y se nota que las paredes no son muy gruesas. Bastante ruido en la calle a causa de la zona, pero pudimos dormir bien.

Ventajas: Location is great! Few minutes from the beach. It’s the only good thing about the hotel.
Desventajas: Paper thin walls. You can easily have a conversation with your neighbors through the wall. Had to sleep with earplugs. The hotel badly needs renovation, at least the bathroom and the furniture. Same poor breakfast for 9 days.

Ventajas: The hotel is very well situated on the sea front and there is secure parking at the rear at a reasonable cost. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and I enjoyed the buffet breakfast and evening meals.
Desventajas: The building is a traditional seaside hotel and no doubt there are plans for external redecoration at some point in the near future. Inside is smarter and clean. I would definitely book there again, especially off season. I liked the fact that the air conditioning was reliable and cut out automatically when the patio door was open. My balcony overlooked the beach and was of a good size.

Ventajas: the location
Desventajas: Dilapidated and very old it felt more like a poor 3 star. The roof below our balcony had numerous old dirty towels and lots of rubbish and cigarette ends below. The pool bar was closed, all the pool side furniture was cheap sun bleached and broken, the sun loungers were either damaged or dirty, and we have photos of this. The pool overfull inlets contained algae and bacterial spores. Our room had cracked tiles in the bathroom, a dirty hairdryer and no complimentary toiletries. There was only 1 plug socket to plug anything into which was behind the TV The towels were tiny. The Breakfast was mediocre and the hot food not so hot. Would not recommend this to anyone. We walked into other 4 star hotels next to this hotel and the facilities were far superior.

Desventajas: Las paredes parecen papel. Nos tocó una pareja al lado que se pasaron toda la noche haciendo ruido y hablando y parecía que los teníamos metidos en nuestra habitación.

Desventajas: Cerraron hotel domingo a mediodía sin avisarnos, habíamos dejado maletas en consigna y tuvimos que llamar por teléfono al hotel para que nos dieran las maletas. Pedí un picnic ya que tenía una prueba y el desayuno no abrían hasta las 8:00 y el picnic que me dieron era bastante pobre. La primera vez que me pasa una cosa parecida...
