Ventajas: Cool art and concept of the B&B, it was fun that they served sicilian breakfast that was different every morning, the hosts were also super friendly and helpful giving lots of useful tips.

Desventajas: Unfortunately the room was located just outside the reception which made the noise level very loud in the morning.

Ventajas: Room was overall nice, clean and big, location of the b&b is very good

Desventajas: Walls of room are thin, as a consequence it was not possible for us to sleep longer in the morning, as we heard noise from reception/breakfast area, however earplugs were provided

Ventajas: Danilo and his team were excellent. They were very helpful and friendly. The attention to detail was outstanding. Directions for access to the property were exceptional. The property is in an excellent location for what we needed. Daily breakfast was great with lots of local treats. We would thoroughly recommend this property.

Ventajas: The hotel was very unique and artistic and had spacious rooms. The breakfast was unique! No buffet, but the staff brought out Sicilian specialities and explained the traditions. They also made fresh scrambled eggs and very good coffee!

Desventajas: Our room was facing the street and it was quite noisy.

Ventajas: El concepto del hotel, con la temática diversa y el color blanco que prima, y que en mi opinión, te relaja antes de empezar y luego de terminar el día de visita a la ciudad. El grupo humano es cálido y con un clara sentido de la atención al cliente. Gracias!!

Desventajas: Sinceramente nada.

Ventajas: Es un sitio con mucho, muchísimo encanto. Calidad - precio, es lo mejor que vimos en unas vacaciones de dos semanas por Italia. Decorado con muchísimo gusto y con un desayuno típicamente siciliano donde descubrir sus productos típicos. Atención del personal de un nivel exquisito y buena localización con disponibilidad de Parking por 15€ día. La mejor opción posible para conocer Palermo.

Ventajas: Excelente estancia. Personal muy muy amable y cercano, que te recomienda visitas y locales de la ciudad. Buena ubicación. Desayuno excepcional, con especialidades de la ciudad, diferentes cada día.

Ventajas: Breakfast, location, staff, room interior

Desventajas: More facilities in the shower and bathroom would be useful

Ventajas: Everything else. Clean and attractive rooms,very good breakfast and spotless cleaning all over.

Desventajas: The noise outside the room. There is a pub where people stay until late and they are loud. The hotel provides earplugs.

Desventajas: Nos marearon con el tema del parking. Ninguno estaba abierto en domingo, deberían de informarte antes. Desayuno escaso.

Ventajas: Lovely room 15 mins max walk to centre of Palermo, lovely breakfast and great helpful hosts, I thought it was very good value for money, they even allowed us to leave our luggage in hotel until we were ready to go to airport for a late flight and had a shower we could use, fantastic.

Ventajas: The Afea is a unique experience with each room enjoying individual art work by local artists. The location of Afea was excellent for walking to buses, train or into city for sightseeing, also for walking into town to enjoy the many restaurants and ice creams! It was only a short walk down to the harbour and sea area, which at the moment appears to be undergoing some construction along promenade. Breakfast was a daily noteworthy experience with the host Danilo explaining the origins of the food; a very good host and Glory was to be commended on her approach to clients. If you fancy a more relaxing day it's well worth getting a train/bus outside the city to explore some of the coast .

Desventajas: There was a couple of little issues but these were put right on request.

Ventajas: Muy buena ubicación. Al lado de una estación de tren con conexión directa al aeropuerto. Al 5 minutos andando del centro de la ciudad. Personal muy amable y dispuesto a ayudarte.

Ventajas: El hotel está ubicado muy cerca de la estación de tren Palazzo Reale, en la línea que conecta la ciudad de Palermo con el Aeropuerto, y de la Catedral de Palermo, de ahí es solo una pequeña y agradable caminata al centro histórico y comercial de la ciudad. Las habitaciones y baños son muy amplios, limpios y bien equipados con muebles modernos. El desayuno buffet es rico y combina panes, pasteles, frutas y lácteos. El personal es amable y servicial.

Ventajas: Habitación muy cómoda y desayuno excelente

Ventajas: Room including bed was great. Location os Great. The Norman Palass is next door and the trainstation on the airport line is 100 meter away. Breakfast is good. Friendly and helpful staff.

Desventajas: The shower cabinet is tiny

Ventajas: The location is close to one of Palermo's main attractions ( The Norman Palace), this is one of their boasts. It isn't far from the main shopping area either. It's reasonably quiet on a night. It is also very good value for money. It has amenities such as a laundry room and some good value for money vending machines & free wifi. There is a small fridge in the room for guests to store items. The towels/toiletries are replaced/replenished daily. The staff are helpful.

Desventajas: Only petty things really. I thought that the room floor which is tiled needed a good clean. Also I noticed a couple of little ants on the floor in the bathroom. The breakfast, although plentiful, is a little basic.

Ventajas: Clean, newish, comfy bed, big bathroom, aircon.

Desventajas: Ludicrously tiny shower cubicle!! The smallest I have ever had to use in my 52 years! I could barely wash my feet or bend my knees it was so small.

Ventajas: The lovely place to stay in. The room was very comfy and big, airconditioning was working very well. Perfect location for those who want explore the historic centre. Also breakfast was quite good (not only coffee and cruissants) For an additional price, you can use laundry facilities.

Ventajas: Located close to major site.

Desventajas: The property was well located but difficult to find.

Ventajas: La habitación y el baño estaban muy bien. El desayuno superó nuestras expectativas ya que al tratarse de un alojamiento pequeño lo esperábamos más sencillo. Había la variedad para un desayuno completisimo. El personal muy atento, nos escribió para saber cuándo llegábamos y al ser tarde nos dieron opciones para llegar a la hora que quisiésemos. Todas las facilidades.

Desventajas: El único inconveniente fue encontrar aparcamiento. Está situado en un barrio muy céntrico de calles muy estrechas y al llegar un sábado por la noche nos costó encontrar aparcamiento e incluso circular por algunas calles que estaban llenas de gente de fiesta. No hay parkings de pago en la zona así que hay que aparcar en la calle, sujeto a veces a "gorrillas".

Desventajas: Staff generally absent, particularly on arrival with no instructions provided or parking details. It is false that parking is available at this property, we had to drive through the city nearby to find parking with zero guidance. Ventajas: Room was spacious and clean.

Desventajas: Except for the phone call that we gave to the host upon arrival we never met him/her. Keys were in the door. That's it. If you're travelling in Palermo for the first time be sure that you'll not receive any help from the owners what so ever. WiFi did not work the first day. We called to report it but nothing happened until the next morning when some German guests pointed it out and than the staff finally did something. It's funny how unprofessional they were during the breakfast which by the way is a disaster. If you don't come there first be sure you'll not get any ham or cheese or anything savory. They are not refilling anything, not even bread (only after asking we finally got some). On the second day we asked for at least some ham and cheese and lady said they didn't have time to go to the store! Really?! All in all, if you like eating sweets and something that looks like oven pizza for breakfast you're on the right place. Coffee is the worst we had on our trip. Parking is really messy. If you have rented car be careful. Gallery on booking.com should be updated since the room we had is not on the pictures.

Desventajas: Las toallas son un poco ásperas por poner algo.

Ventajas: The B&B is in a great location, really close to the cathedral. It was very clean, the beds were extremely comfortable. The breakfast was exactly what you would expect & staff were attentive. We arrived early and our room was ready which was another plus. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend

Ventajas: This apartment is situtated in a tiny street just a 2 minutes walk away from Palermo cathedral. It is very very calm. The interior is very nice and the doors are with a very safe lock, however Palermo is a very safe city. You are absolutely central and in the heart of the city with all sights being very close. We loved the mixture of modern and traditional style. The breakfast is just great, offering all kind of Sicilian cornetti. The staff is kind, the room absolutely clean and spacious. What a fantastic stay!

Desventajas: There was a hole in the bedsheets, a bit nasty.. the mattress and pillows were not confortable at all. We could not close the bathroom door- a bit stuck..For the check-in we had to make a call to the place in order to know how to do it, we did not have any news or instructions about how to do it (there was a code for the entrance so no problem for late check-in but make sure to call in advance in order to be able to get there), very disappointing and little attentive that part..

Ventajas: The location of the B&B White is absolutely perfect ! Just a 3 mn walk from the buses & railway stations, il also offered the possibility to visit the whole historical center of Palermo by feet. The Italian breakfast is a wonderful combination of salted & sweet with a large range of products. The continental one offeredthe possibility of eggs (omelette,scrambled or fried) and ham & cheese hot sandwich. Either the italian & the continental one are a good money value ! Simona & Monia are the most smiling and friendly Hotel Staff I rarely ever met ! The place (bedrooms and shared rooms) are spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated. The comfort of the bedrooms is just perfect!

Desventajas: I liked everything !

Ventajas: Near the train station and near the bus station (to go to Monreal); also near the main points of interest of Palermo cause near the main streets. The breakfast is perfect.

Ventajas: Clean, easily accessible, free street parking and self check in available which made arriving late at night much easier. Morning breakfast was tasty and they made eggs upon request. The bed was excellent, as it felt like a high quality solid foam mattress.

Ventajas: Owner left you to get on with your stay, not intrusive. She was polite and professional. Room was like traditional pension.

Desventajas: No where to park car, owner had little of other languages. Not a great area.

Ventajas: Great location in the centre of Palermo, within close walking distance of the main tourist spots and the local market. The room was spacious and clean with a small balcony to watch over the street below. It is also on the airport coach transfer route and just around the corner from a supermarket.

Desventajas: The property was slightly difficult to find as it it within a large high-rise building. We didn't receive instructions on how to enter the building (which was locked when we arrived with no clear intercom system) or where to find the apartment once another resident had let us in when passing by. It's actually on the 2nd floor and can be reached by stairs or an old-school elevator :)

Ventajas: The room was fine but there was no kettle or way to make tea or soup. The location could hardly have been bettered and the host was very friendly.

Desventajas: The coffee (latte) was almost cold but was replenished. Too many sweet things at breakfast and no fruit. It was okay but not very substantial though one could have eaten more sweet rolls if one felt like one!

Ventajas: The B&B was good for a quiet stopover, and an easy walk from Centrale. The bed and room were not luxurious but were clean and ok for the price. The breakfast was standard Italian - croissant in a packet, jam and good coffee. The owners were lovely and friendly, though the language barrier was a bit difficult after a flight.

Desventajas: The check-in was not easy (particularly as we did not speak Italian). We had arranged to arrive at 10pm and were told that was fine, however when we arrived we could not find how to get into the building. Eventually we were let in by other people in the building and they directed us upstairs (Level 2). The bed was a bit uncomfortable and pillows were thin, so new bedding would make a world of difference.

Desventajas: Female receptionist was really rude and arrogant. Asking questions about facilities left us unanswered. We had a room in a seperate building with a lot of noice outside the whole night. The bathroom smelled like sewer. The breakfast was very outdated and simple. Seriously not worth what we paid for the stay.

Ventajas: Desayuno buffet escaso pero buenísimo. Bien organizados. Me pusieron una cama en el dormitorio pq nos gustaba el sofá cama, rápidos y resolutivos. Superamables de principio a fin, todos los trabajadores

Ventajas: Location is great. Within walking distance of all the major sites and especially if you want to experience / taste the local culture. You really can’t beat the location. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Desventajas: Generally good but needs something upgrades in bathroom particularly.

Ventajas: Generous size to the room. Quiet piazza and in an excellent location. Appreciate having a kettle. Plenty of storage space which is good for me as I am here for 10 nights in total. The courtyard is a pleasant place to sit.

Desventajas: The front step coming into the entrance needs fixing to meet Engliah speaking country standards as most of the guests appear to come from overseas. I have slipped off it several times. There has only been a fresh fruit platter at breakfast once out of four mornings. The bread rolls could be varied. The cereals are all refined so I have gone and bought my own.

Ventajas: The owners were amazing, the room was very comfortable and it was very easy to check in and out. They were even so kind as to reserve a restaurant table for us several times, which always lead to good meals. :)

Desventajas: The only issue we had was that the wifi sometimes didn't work...but I think this is a general problem in Sicily.

Ventajas: El tamaño de la habitación y el trato de los anfitriones. El desayuno estaba muy bien y abundante, pero tenias que acordarlo con la propiedad el día anterior a la hora en que te lo traían a la habitación (no había un espacio para desayunar).

Desventajas: Para aparcar en las inmediaciones sin pagar parking era un poco complicado, aunque en las calles paralelas tuve sitio.

Ventajas: We were very pleased with our stay in this guesthouse. Took a room with a private bathroom. Everything is very clean, beautiful interior. The property lies 30 minutes walking distance from the city center. Arrived ahead of time check in, but were able to leave the bags while preparing the room. The owner Giovanni was in contact on all questions. Recommended

Ventajas: Los dueños muy majos, nos ayudaron en todo momento. Las habitaciones muy limpias y en buen estado. Está en una zona tranquila por lo que no hay ruidos externos. El hotel se encuentra a unos 10 minutos andando.

Ventajas: The staff were very helpful, gave us a few lifts and directions, also let us leave our luggage the day we checked out until we had our bus journey that night! The room was beautiful and very spacious!

Ventajas: The owners were super friendly and even recommended other areas in sicily to visit.

Desventajas: The place was a little hard to find, and a little out of the way. But that had supermarkets and restaurants in close proximity.

Ventajas: Cozy room and apartment not far from centre, Giovanni was very nice and recommended us where to go and what to see.

Ventajas: The room was spacious, well decorated, very comfortable in a quiet neighbourhood. Giovani and Daniela were very friendly and helpful, he gave us tips on where to go and what to eat. If you want a really personal, local experience I recommend you stay here.

Ventajas: Very good location, everything interesting in Palermo is near. Very clean, extravagant with flair and comfortable room. Big bathroom with all. The owner Giovani and his wife Daniela are very friendly, kind and helpful. If we visit Palermo one day again will stay at Casale D’Or again!

Ventajas: Excellent location - very quiet and yet not too far from the city centre. Good size of the room as well as of the bathroom. Helpful host, who lives next door, provides a map and tips of things to see in and outside of Palermo.

Desventajas: Room wasn't ready to move into until the early evening, instead of advertised 15:30. Very small kitchen not fit for cooking proper meals.

Ventajas: Suite was really comfortable and spacious and Giovanni is really caring and helpful host. Thank you!

Desventajas: La televisión, la caja fuerte y el ascensor no funcionaban. Las paredes son muy finas. Confundió nuestro día de salida, pero el hotel no dijo nada hasta después de que nos marchamos. Una vez que nos dimos cuenta de nuestro error, pedimos el reembolso, dijeron que no, entonces dijimos que era nuestra habitación y que podríamos volver. Más tarde mandaron un mensaje diciendo que les hicimos perder a un cliente porque no regresamos... así que querían que nos pagaran la habitación dos veces.

Ventajas: We had a late check-in and a car to park, the lateness of the hour made no difference and we received a excellent service, friendly, efficient, no fuss ,no problems. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom clean and modern. The breakfast is excellent, the best we've had on our travels! The morning coffee served to your choice and is excellent, there is a cooked breakfast, a continental breakfast, cakes, biscuits, flans and fresh fruit, all top drawer and excellent.

Ventajas: Perfect for the first two night stay in Palermo before our tour started. Hotel arranged airport transfer for us, friendly welcome at late check in, spacious room and bathroom, big comfy bed. A lot of sweet dishes/cakes on offer for breakfast but was happy with the good coffee and tasty hot egg/sausage option. Quick walk to Teatro Massimo which appears to be the central hub of the city.

Desventajas: The hotel Wifi did not extend into the restaurant which had a different sign in code which nobody explained util I had spent about an hour surfing thinking I was on the hotels Wifi until one app told me I was not. The restaurant staff knew if was different but the main desk did not. Very odd set and not experienced this before so people should be aware and ask.

Ventajas: Great hotel very well located in the historical center of Palermo and close to the seaside and to many points of interest of the city. Welcoming and very available staff, the hotel is in a very nicely renovated historical building. It is at the image of the great city of Palermo!

Ventajas: Great location, the room was perfect for our needs and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Ventajas: The terrace was great for breakfast and the a good choice of foods, juices and coffees The room was a great size with a big bath tub! Not too far from the train station which is good although we walked the first time and it probably is a little too far with big bags! Hotel is close to the old town and the main sites and the people working on the desk were more than happy to give us maps, directions and advice!

Desventajas: One of the sinks in our bathroom was broken, we kept on having problems with the electric key card to get into the room and the air con (apparently the hotel can turn both on/off from reception so you have to go back downstairs to make sure they do). No iron, even at reception, so be prepared to look wrinkly for your time in Palermo!

Desventajas: Had to travel back a day earlier but the owner didn't even consider waiving part of the payment for the last night. Felt a bit like a prison as divided into two halves and couldn't enter the half we weren't staying in (which was where the tea and coffee facilities were). Breakfast had little variety. Road outside dirty with dog mess etc. Found the owner quite abrupt, we were about an hour later than expected and this appeared to be a major issue. The bed in my partner's room was very solid and uncomfortable. The lift was tiny and the key to one section of the building difficult to use - I was made out to be a bit stupid but my partner couldn't work it either or my son until we had used it a few times.

Desventajas: Aire acondicionado justito (poca potencia) y el ruido que hace el baño. (sistema de impulsión de las aguas), que posiblemente moleste más a las habitaciones vecinas que la propia. La mampara necesitaba una pequeña reparación.

Ventajas: The place is central in the touristic heart of Palermo, but it was not noicy. The rooms are large and the bathroom is adequate.

Desventajas: We booked breakfast for all the days. Breakfast in the B&B was okay, but the last day we got a ticket for breakfast at a bar. That was not very good and we could have had a better breakfast on a spot of our own choice for less the € 5,00 per person.

Ventajas: Quiet location, nice garden, very fine breakfast.

Desventajas: Difficult to visit the old town with public transportation, and even worse with car.

Desventajas: Está un poco escondido y las calles que lo rodean son un poco tétricas. Reservamos el parking pero al llegar estaba lleno y tuvimos que aparcar en la calle. La zona de parking se queda pequeña para todas las habitaciones del hotel.

Ventajas: El hotel es muy bonito, tiene un patio muy acogedor para tomar algo por las noches. Las habitaciones son espaciosas, modernas y limpias. El baño bien equipado y limpio, con una ducha muy grande y moderna. El desayuno es muy completo y el personal muy amable. Si que es verdad que no estás en el centro de Palermo, pero en coche se llega en 10 minutos fácilmente. Llegamos la primera noche a las 12, y nos recomendaron ir a una pizzería a unos 10 minutos andando. Todo el personal de la recepción es muy atento. Además, tiene aparcamiento gratuito, punto a favor para no tener que perder tiempo en aparcar.

Ventajas: Hotel has a very nice patio where the bar is located. You can sit and relax there, have a drink. You will be surrounded by palm trees etc. Bar service will take a good care of you and is very kind. Cleaning service was very good and kind. Keeping the room very tidy and stocked with clean towels, water and toiletries. Parking area was in the object. Breakfast was good but rather far away from fantastic. For fantastic breakfast in Italy I would expect products like a variety tomatoes (only green tomatoes were available), mozzarella and other cheese selection (only some random yellow sliced cheese was available). Also for Sicily a freshly squeezed orange juice would be nice! Scrambled eggs were just a solid egg block. I do not think those are too high expectations - I had a breakfast like that in Sorrento some time ago and the hotel price was just a bit higher than here.

Desventajas: Unfortunately the downsides were killing our mood constantly. First of all it seems like we were given lower grade room than we booked. We were supposed to have classic and we had economic I think. The room was veeery small and there were no windows (sic!). The only way to let the light in was the glass door (entrance to the room) which we had to keep curtained as we didn't want people to peek inside. Internet connection was very poor! Almost not working in most of the parts of the room. The air conditioning system was terrible. First of all, one day (and night) there was aircon malfunction and it was not working at all. Another unacceptable for me thing is that AC control is not up to the guest - it is controlled by the reception desk. It seems like you can request to lower the temperature in your room but then for some reason (energy savings?) it was changed again. Quite a few times I had to go/call the reception and ask to adjust the AC but then it was changes again. The worst was the night-time when in the middle of the night I was waking up boiling - temperature initially set (by my request) to 19C was changed to 27C. I'm not used to sleep in the temperature like that and I'm always booking rooms with AC. In this case, for me there was no AC.

Ventajas: The hotel is ideally situated to take advantage of the public bus system. One bus (101) starts it’s run near the hotel and goes direct to the centre. Very convenient.

Ventajas: Breakfast was on the top floor with a choice of inside or open air seating. very nice choice of Italian cakes and pastries and also eggs, bacon and grilled veges. Car parking was easy outside the hotel to drop off bags and then the concierge took the car for parking - retrieved it several times during or 3 day stay.

Desventajas: Difficult to find the hotel because of construction works in the centre of the city and one way roads had changed which were not up to date the the hire car GPS.

Desventajas: The breakfast was ok The bed was not very comfortable There was a musty smell in the room The internet was awful (the only way to use our phones was with 4G) There is only 1 channel in English on the tv (the hotel said there are changing that on the near future) Even after I complaint, all we received from the hotel was a fruit basket, and not even a good one.. We’ve been to Palermo before... you can get much better for the money... Definitely don’t worth it.

Desventajas: Breakfast was not good. Out of things and did not replace. Shower did not work well in the room and they could not fix. Disjointed way of getting to room. Have to use 2 elevators and some stairs. We were there 45 minutes prior to check in after flying all night long. They would not check us in early. No coffee maker in the room. Only tea. This could be a fantastic hotel if they improved on things. Front desk staff was knowledgeable about the area.

Desventajas: Staff was unfriendly. Towels missing in rooms. Sandy sheets so possibly left from previous guest. Broken shower door. According to booking confirmation we would have access to the Spa but they wanted to charge us Euro 30 per person so for our family Euro 150. Parking was supposed to be Euro 15 but they charged 20. Very run down facilities.

Ventajas: The room was comfortable and quiet room.

Desventajas: Impossible to reach the hotel by car as the roads are all block by police - pedestrian use only street. Therefore also useless car valet services being offered + the hotel parking is closed overnight making it impossible to checkout your car for an early morning departure.

Desventajas: Las habitaciones tienen un tamaño demasiado pequeño, y el baño es mínimo, y sin ventanas. El hotel me explicó que había pedido una habitación pequeña, pero en booking no lo indicaban así.

Ventajas: La amplitud de la habitación, nos alojamos en una suite y tenía varios departamentos. Muy grande y confortable!

Desventajas: El desayuno y el personal d atención dl restaurante. Viajábamos dos personas con intolerancia al gluten por lo que avisamos al hotel antes d llegar que necesitaríamos alimentos sin gluten para el desayuno. El primer día no teníamos nada para desayunar, ni pan, ni cereales, ni ningún tipo de bollería. Hablamos con el personal del restaurante que nos aseguró que al día siguiente tendríamos todo lo necesario para el desayuno y nos encontramos con lo mismo, no había nada sin gluten. Teniendo en cuenta que en la calle de al lado había un supermercado que ofrecía todo tipo de productos sin gluten, nos demostraron muy poco interés por contentar a los clientes.

Ventajas: Impeccable service. Can’t complain about anything!!!! We arrived in Palermo and planned to stay one night. However our flights got cancelled due to a strike and we haven’t been able to contact the agency all day to change flights in order for part of our group not to miss their connection. Giovanni kindly stayed on the line for about one hour with the airline desk at the airport and was able to get part of us on a flight the same day in order to get to our connection the next one. On top of that, the part of the group that stayed at the hotel really enjoyed it. Very very nice cozy hotel. Nice rooms, really clean and modern. Loved the changing light colors in the shower. AMAZING location right in the center of Palermo. Can’t complain, this hotel is amazing !!

Ventajas: The location was good for walking but do not stay here if you are renting a car. Impossible to drive to the hotel as all streets leading to it are pedestrian only streets. The hotel says they have parking, but they do not. The room was spacious, but not comfortable. They did not take advantage of the space or use it well.

Desventajas: Parking was horrendous. They lied about it and made us think we could drive to the hotel when we could not. We drove for an hour and called the hotel. They told us to keep trying. Horrible. The bed had only a top sheet on it. No comforter or duvet. The make up mirror was placed a foot too high for me to use and I am 5'10". There was no where to hang up suits or dresses, only shorts shorter than 2 feet long. A few shelves. No other drawers, or areas to out clothes. The staff was rude and unhelpful. We have stayed in many 4 and 5 star resorts in Europe, Asia, USA, and Central America. This was the worst.

Ventajas: Is located in the centre of the old town of palermo . Many choises of restaurants and shops around.

Desventajas: The staff is very unfriendly. They find it hard to smile. The breakfast is really poor.

Ventajas: The hotel facilities are exceptional, wonderful breakfast, staff were very helpful, although unfriendly... everyone we came into contact with were professional. Beds were super comfortable and when I’m next in Palermo. QuintoCanto will be my first choice!

Desventajas: The elevator is too cramped, prefer to use the stairs.

Ventajas: Massimo Plaza hotel is very well located in the Old City of Palermo. It is not the most luxe hotel in Palermo but neither did we pay for Luxe. From the moment you walk in the door you feel welcome by the charming helpful staff. Such a good feeling in a city and a language one is not familiar with . The staff were outstanding, from reception to the cleaners, breakfast delivered to your room no extra charge and explaining patiently for the 10th time how to get to a a destination. They didn’t forget our slightest request and all this without being intrusive ,they even troubleshot for us after checkout. We felt most welcome and and this definitely contributed to our great enjoyment of our time in Palermo.

Desventajas: My partner thought a box of tissues in the room would be helpful

Desventajas: My stay was just too short . A week next time . Palermo is very old and to think people were here when Jesus walked the earth . A very ancient city indeed .

Ventajas: There aren't many rooms so it feels like the service is quite personal - the manager responded quickly to my requests and questions. The second of the 2 rooms I stayed in was decorated nicely and had a little balcony!

Desventajas: They have 'modern' and 'classic' rooms, and the modern room is a bit disappointing if you're expecting the bed with the canopy etc. The inner rooms are a bit noisy - there's a high pitched whine from a machine in the inner courtyard that goes on and off 24hours a day...not their fault, of course, but maybe request an outer room if you think it will bother you.

Ventajas: Unfortunately there was a peculiar high pitched whine, 8 seconds longs, every 15 seconds, all night long from somewhere in the neighborhood, which did not make it a good night's sleep. Hopefully it was a temporary thing. Apart from that it was nice to stay in a typical block with an inner courtyard.

Ventajas: Convenient. Mear train station. Friendly and helpful owner. Highly recommended for short and long stays

Desventajas: I booked the room type that had a double bed and a single bed but was put into a room with just one double. Not what you want when you are travelling with your brother. This was disappointing because when I pointed it out to staff he said there were no rooms with more than one bed.

Desventajas: Personally, I don't like too much sweet stuff for breakfast, however, they did provide cheese and ham which was fine. Parking was a bit difficult as it was very busy and in the morning cars were just waiting for a space to be vacated.

Ventajas: The staff were incredibly polite and professional. The property and room was clean and served our purpose for a short city stop over very well; the large family room accommodated 3 adults + 1 baby comfortably and the beds were incredibly cozy - Lovely shower too!

They go the extra mile to let you feel at home and assist in any situation.

Desventajas: EVERYTHING ELSE! (1) Only one staff in lobby, who had an attitude, didn't answer calls, had no bell boys (to carry luggage up stairs from lobby) or concierge; (2) Jr suite 207 had 3 windows w/o light, 'view' of 'colorful surrounding alleys, where you can touch your neighbors, smell their meals, participate in family arguments, etc; (3) HVAC system was missing knobs and difficult to control. Eurostars brand is damaged by this Palermo operation ... we couldn't get out of there fast enough.

Ventajas: Clean, great staff, great location .

Desventajas: Difficult to get in and out of the bathtub. There should be a shower the the rooms

Ventajas: Location and breakfast.

Ventajas: You feel like you are actually staying in a palace! The hallways are beautiful and they have big plush sofas everywhere. Location is perfect in the centre of old town with heaps of food, souvenirs and bars around. If getting in a taxi, ask to be dropped off at Quattro Canti, otherwise they try and tell you it’s pedestrian only and drop you a km away

Desventajas: Staff are helpful but sometimes a little forgetful and need to be asked a few times

Ventajas: Location was excellent and convenient

Desventajas: The computer software was all in Italian and the Wi Fi not consistent

Ventajas: It is well located, few meters from Quattro Canti. We were few blocks from everything. The best was the breakfast!

Desventajas: It is an old hotel, despite the breakfast could be rated as 5-stars level, the rooms and the hotel is a true 3-stars.

Desventajas: Habitación amplia pero oscura, con mobiliario antiguo. Ducha pequeña y baja presión de agua.

Ventajas: Habitación cómoda y la ubicación espectacular. Recomendable

Desventajas: Personal de recepción debe manejar más idiomas y dar mayor orientación

Ventajas: La propiedad es un poco antigua pero es un hotel de nivel

Desventajas: Para llegar en auto súper complicado y el estacionamiento

Desventajas: Habitación con cama supletoria Baño viejo y algún bichito. Ducha horrible!!!
