Our room was large but I did not care but I did not care for the way it was designed. The kitchenette had a sink that served as the sink for the entire room - no bathroom sink. It was clean, but I would probably choose another place in the future.
Decent sized room, nice TV, and a mini fridge Bugs in the room!! and very thin walls (but not ultimately a huge problem)
It was clean-close to my appointmentsWould recommend it for a night or twoReasonable rate Bed was hard and Uncomfortable-lots of outside noise Not for a long stay
The hotel is aged, but clean and adequate. The young couple who run it were so helpful and nice. Didn't like the lighting in the room. Could have used a second bedside lamp and 'warmer' lighting instead of the white light bulbs. Location is great! Neighborhood seems safe, street is a major one so we never got lost and found plenty of amenities nearby. Having a Starbucks next door was very nice! Free internet was appreciated, although we got bounced off now and then. Expected complimentary bath products (shampoo/conditioner) and was surprised to not get any. Swimming pool looked inviting, but we never had time to use it. No elevator and we were not offered a downstairs room. It was not fun dragging our large suitcases up the stairs, but we managed. All in all, we felt that we got good value for the price we paid, and would definitely recommend Bali Hai to our friends. If we ever return to Fort Lauderdale, we would probably return to this hotel too.
Unfortunately I cannot judge the hotel adequately at the moment as I had beg bug attack in it. Everything went fine until the last day, when I woke up with bytes on my body. I was victim of a bed bugs attack, and this was confirmed also by the hotel owner after checking the room.
