My prepaid room was given away. After arriving at the hotel on a late flight, I was told to take a letter to a different hotel across town because they didn't have my room. This happened to several other guests that evening. The other hotel was considerably far from my meetings that brought me to town for 3 days. Hotel clerk rude and dismissive at checkin.
The hotel didn't have a pool, they give you a pass to use a public gym.. lots of homeless arround the area. My room wasn't cleaned on time so I had to call the manager.
The staff was very knowledgeable about the area and had some great recommendations for places walking distance for meals. Parking is extra, and it wasn't apparent in the booking or when I checked in and they gave me the pass to get in/out of the garage.
The food was way to expensive and hard to place an order for room service
The bed was so comfortable, the room was clean, there's a Starbucks in the hotel. Nothing
the hotel was a bit old but had that awesome clean towel bar soap smell Starbucks is right there And you can go to the restaurant in the lobby and still get authentic NM food. The staff is incredible fun folks who make you feel like a friend. One of them even did an impression for me, HILARIOUS love it, A++++++ would buy again Nothing notable They even brought me a flat iron and hairbrush
The only great thing about our stay was the older gentlemen at the valet. He over exceeded the customer service expectations. More of your staff members should follow his example. The beds were awful. You might as well put sheets over a pallet of springs. For the amount of money people pay I think the hotel can afford better mattresses. Our faucet in our room has a horrible leak. You might want to tell housekeeping to do a deep clean on the furniture it's a tad dirty. As for the front desk rule of thumb don't let your guest stand around for 15 minutes because you failed to notify valet. 2 seconds on the radio and your done. But seriously almost 30 minutes waiting all together to retrieve a phone charger from the car is a little ridiculous all that was, was a lack of communication. ***** 5 stars to the older gentlemen in valet***** He is a true employee and if you don't notice that as management you lack as well in training and bringing the expectations needed for great guest services.... The staff was great and courteous, very clean. My new go-to hotel when in Albuquerque .
