Was there for an extended time, management staff (Rula Awad) lied about rates and staff in general upcharged whenever possible. Noisy with no sensitivity to guests. Internet was hit or miss, mostly miss, service was questionable, but worst was what was quoted vs, what was charged. Management was rude and would not respond to reason. Nothing for several miles around, outside of town. Pool was overcrowded by locals. No privacy. Onsite restaurants were overprice and not that good.
We had a great weekend at Danat Al Ain Resort! It was our first trip to Al Ain and we didn't expect to see such a beautiful resort facilities in UAE. We spent the most beautiful moments and it was pure relaxation on the nicest pool which is very awesome. The check-in was quick and very easy and the rooms are quiet nice with newly refurbished and nice view of the pool. Service was excellent and the food was 5 star. The breakfast was very good, little bit the same each morning, but ok. Everything about this resort is unique and special. Not to forget the friendliness of the staff and the smile on their faces all day long. Great for an inexpensive week-end getaway. We will definitely come back to this resort and we highly recommend it for families.
courtyard, gym 2 of the 4 stationary bikes in the gym did not operate correctly, but all the other equipment was fine.
two things i like 1- the location 2- the swimming pool there are many things which is not matching hilton standrads and those are 1- unprofessional staff at the front desk,2- they are not offering the complementaries as the other hilton branch,2 they are not fast in servicing the rooms and they will do the cleaning after 10 calls and thousands of reminders.
A run down hotel, smelly rooms, service and staff are very good but that cannot make up for the general bad state the hotel is in I checked out a day early and while I knew I would have to pay the full night and was ok with it, they also me pay the surcharge for an upgrade I only took because my room was facing a noisy roundabout. A ricidilous bill for a truly bad hotel
Good pools and work out gym. Poor wifi service; slow; no wifi in rooms
The Hotel staff was very co-operative. However more food restaurants are required N/A
BEAUTIFUL piano and violin music in the lobby area every night. Very nice. Very nice and friendly staff, and very much enjoyed the gym and the olympic pool for swimming laps. Taxis are always available out front, and the Al Ain mall is very close. Did not like however, that wifi was ONLY available in the lobby. So incredibly inconvenient. Hilton can provide it in the individual rooms, as it IS available...you just have to pay for it. Why though?! Most hotels offer it free in the rooms, but Hilton did not, and the way they advertised their wifi for this hotel is misleading to make one think it would be available in the room for free. Also, the shower curtain was cheap and of poor design, as it did not actually keep water inside the shower (ended up all over the bathroom floor instead), and the hair dryer got overheated fairly quickly and just stopped working. Though the pool was nice, I did go one morning only to find a disturbing number of materials such as cigarette butts, bees, ants, and pigeon feathers floating in the water. Gross.
Everything! We wished we could have stayed longer, but will return. Our room was spacious and had a balcony and view. Resturants and food.wine excellent. Staff so helpful and welcoming. Fantastic hotel and staff. Thank you for a great time Just a suggestion,it would have been nice to have 2 chairs on the balcony so we could sit outside and enjoy the fresh air and view. Nothing fancy just the plastic white chairs would have been good.
Convenient Location ... MOST HELPFUL and friendly staff! The housekeeping staff and concierge were amazing! Rates went up while we were there ... August 30 & 31st were much cheaper than September 1st & 2nd
Swimming pool Unprofessional service by the staff , and poor reservation team
Kindness of the staff
i liked all the swimming pools, the spa,the fitness room especially the sauna ,steam and jaccuzi.very clean and quiet atmosphere.the massage that my husband had was very professional! sitting outside night time was a nice experience,i like the one man show's programm. the food served from the restaurant near the small swimming pool(i don't remember it's name.the furniture of the hotel.
the new furneture. the receptionist was very bad and not helpfull at all.
excellent services, cleanliness, very friendly staff
Cleanliness There were no dishes available although it had a kitchenette. There were a very restricted amount of channels to watch on tv (esp in eng). were not given sufficient number of towels for two rooms for both the nights that we stayed.
Near by city center and low prices
The room was clean and Tidy.
The building design and function was quite nice The boss obviously has no idea how to train his staff...they were all pathetic and unprofessional. I get far better service from a 2 star hotel in Abu Dhabi...the hotel is not as nice, but the staff are lovely and make me feel valued and special.
Food choice not very good
rooms were good and clean. we could here whats goin on in neighbouring room as there was a door seperating two rooms
Looks good from the outside The staff who checked us in was not particularly friendly. All the tables in the room were badly scratched. No newspapers provided in the morning. The party hall is an open area onto which most of the rooms overlook. Horribly loud jarring music disturbed all the guests till around 11pm. No response from the staff when we complained. Was a horrible experience!!!
new, clean, on the main road through Al Ain as it was a touch down stop for 1 night to break a journey. The cafe in atrium was very loud even within the room until about 11pm and with young children this was not ideal.
The room was of a decent size and the bed was comfortable. It's an old resort. There seems to be a lot of potential for it to be a nice place but they don't put the money in to upkeep the grounds. Room service food was pretty average and is delivered in plastic to go containers, not four star service at all.
The staff were very professional, warm, helpful, and friendly. You won't get bored at the hotel cause there's some activities you could do - swimming, biking, rec room, museum, gym/sauna, etc... The emergency light on the ceiling has an annoying green light that is lit the whole time. It glows even brighter when it is dark so it could be annoying at night. Breakfast was so-so.
Quit Not for relaxe
Nothing that can be written about The food was horrible
Room and facility non
I like it as it is near the town central The hotel parking lot are conjusted it is deficulity to park two vehicle in the parking. There are no restorant near it take ages to have food delver to you.
We stayed in the one bedroom suite. The facilities offered were adequate. The rooms were neat though my childs clothes were brown at the knees. The kitchen was adequate. They provided bath towels. It is ideal for families who prefer to prepare their own meals or with babies for boiling bottles and preparing their food. It is slightly far away from the town sights so we lost our way but Al Ain is not all that big....
The rooms are fully equipped apartments giving much more space and amenity than a normal hotel room. There is a nice garden and swimming pool for relaxing - although the temperature was 40 plus when I was there! There is a good restaurant on site if you don't want to cook, and a well provisioned supermarket across the road if you do.
The design and location of the hotel are good The hotel doesn't provide meals at all so you have to get or make them
Position and view and facilities. Not enough towels in rooms and No toilet paper.
the space of the rooms service of the staff ( non arabs ), they are not helpful at all
