Smaragdi Hotel

Really enjoyed my stay at Smaragdi. Staff were helpful and super responsive from the time I made my booking. Aliki helped arrange pickup for me from the airport at short notice and also helped with my queries, whether for a phone charger or an invoice breakdown. Property was clean and well maintained and very close to the beach. The poolside also offered a good place to relax and grab a drink or have breakfast.

Our room was fantastic. It was big and the bed was very comfortable. I got a great nights sleep every night. The staff Especially Maria and everyone at the bar and front desk were fantastic. The pool wss terrific and refreshing. The beautiful hotel is only a short walk to some great dining and the bus stop.

It would be hard to improve on such a terrific place. Breakfast was very European. Maybe fluffier scrambled eggs. But overall breakfast was delicious.

The location was perfect and close to the Black Sand Beach. Also close to many shops and food spots. 10/10 would recommend. Breakfast for $8 is worth it if you’re a breakfast person, because the food places here don’t have many options for breakfast and is often more expensive.

There’s nothing I didn’t like. But, I wish the pool was open later for night time dips.

Loved the pool area where we got a couple drinks at night. Also liked that the beach was a short walk down the street.

Only bad thing from the stay was the WiFi. It was spotty in the room and often had to walk closer to the pool area to get better reception.
